gomez got shaken up on saturday in an outfield collision with braun but it looks like he'll play tomorrow. good news is, bautista will be DH'ing

Bautista outplays his contract by more than $70 million over the next four seasons (2013-2016).

Where does Lind and Edwin play with Bautista at DH. I guess Lind has to sit against a righty.

I'd put Lind at 1st Edwin at 3rd.

So is Bautista finally going to be in the lineup? This team can't go much longer without him.

Edwin has played in the OF before, I think they'd try it out again.

If we're lucky enough to get Bautista back today, I'd assume Lind will be on the bench. It's just an unfortunate element of the team's roster construction. They can't hide Bautista or anybody else at DH without sitting one of the two 1B/DHs. Maybe they'll take the extreme step of putting Edwin back at 3rd, though. He did play it a bit last year during NL games.

Looking at the lineup trying to think of where you could pinch hit Lind and then take him out defensively the next inning. Maybe you could pinch hit him for Kawasaki or Francisco then put in Tolleson defensively?

But even then it seems a bit silly pinch hitting a left handed bat for a left handed bat..

I'll expect they'll PH him for one of Navarro, Francisco, Kawasaki, and Gose when appropriate.

Estrada is guy we should mash, but knowing the Jays, they'll get nothing going today.

I'm hoping for 7-5 before the All-Star break. That's going to be very tough with the schedule, but after their June record, they have no choice but to start winning tough games. As always with the Jays, I'm expecting a collapse of epic proportions, but let's see what happens.

If the Brewers keep chasing that high FB, Hutch is going to feast on them.

He can live up there easily as long as they keep chasing.
