This is why he was not better for our team than Walker. That is way to much for Lowry and between 3 and 4 times what Kemba costs next year.

Kemba's on a rookie deal

Yes he is. That means we can bring in someone else at a different position with our cap room. So we can upgrade a position of need while paying less for a PG that is not far behind a guy making so much more.

I like him as the likely value pickup.

I think Parsons just as good if not better than Hayward, and would come cheaper as well. Would be a fantastic signing.

@Kroeger
ICYMI: @stevekylerNBA said on @PrimetimeWFNZ that 3 free agents he’s heard linked to #Hornets is PJ Tucker, Trevor Ariza & Gordon Hayward.

Well we all knew that Lance wasn't a Cho guy. Lol. But I'll wait until after his meeting with the Pacers to see if we're interested yet still.

I was kind of hoping to hear if we were interested in Tucker. I like that idea if we're not going after any big names. He'd be a nice addition.

Ariza would be a decent fit, but only if it's cheap. PJ Tucker is a nice player, but I don't know that I really like the pick. I've said elsewhere why Hayward isn't, or at least shouldn't, happen.

pj tucker might fool around and take MKG's job. he plays good defense, but he can also hit that corner 3.

If we pay over 10 mil for Hayward's no defense playing ass then how much are we gonna pay Kemba for his extension? If we pay Hayward 10 mil and then front on Kemba all hell is gonna break loose!!! Lol.

Ha. Yea Cliff would have to foolishly fool around and do it. MKG should be safe in the starting lineup unless Melo Anthony is walkin thru that door.

PJ Tucker is a really solid player. Highly doubt he'd take MKGs job, but it wouldn't be a shocker.

I do like Tucker and honestly I'd expect him to take MKG's job. But I wonder if he's enough of an upgrade or a good enough fit to make it worth it.

Lol. Are we talking about the same PJ Tucker? MKG prolly averaged more points than him per 36 or the same. Yea yea yea he can hit the corner 3 every here and there but cmon son. Lol.

Agreed. They are not in the same area on defense and MKG actually shoots a higher percentage from the field. Now Tucker as a backup SF who can play some defense and hit a few threes isn't a bad thing.

PJ is just a better version of Tolliver that plays SF/SG instead of SF/PF, he wont take MKG's job
