Maybe 4 years, $50 million:

year 1: 14.5

Well if we nickel and dime Lowry and he walks I am going to make a list of people who thought it was smart management to let the best performing Raptor of the last few years walk over a couple million bucks.

This isn't Bargs or Hedo we're talking about. This is a fiery winner who is insanely competitive. He embodies everything you want in a player and is a role model for our young guys.

I have no problem with any contract up to $13mm average per year.

I am completely comfortable with a deal of 4yrs/44m (11m). If we lose to Lowry to another team, I highly doubt the reported deal will be higher then that. That tells me Lowry wanted us to overpay to retain his services & no that's not a player I want on my team... I'm not looking for a hometown discount, at the same time I don't believe we should overpaying either... Lowry either believes in our program, team, & city or he doesn't...
