I hope we don't sign Nelson, he sucked ass in every Magic game I saw last year.

Eh I rather him than Steve Blake or Kirk Hinrich whom we've been rumored to. I don't want him much either but he's a hell of a lot better than some possibilities. I want Vasquez or MoWill.

Hayward is the one I've been predicting all along. He's their main target. We need to offer sign & trade to the Jazz in return for them not matching. I think Hayward would want to play here.

I don't know what we have of value (beyond Zeller, and I don't anticipate Utah wanting him) that I would feel comfortable giving up for Hayward.

MKG? Biyombo? Zeller? 2019 Heat 2nd rounder? Future 1st?

I would much rather have Blake or Hinrich than Jameer, by far.

the only piece we have that i think they would actually want is MKG, and he wont be nearly enough probably

But you know Cliff already loves Jameer and can get him on the same page instantaneously. Jameer averaged 7 assists on the Orlando Magic, no?

You would be upset?

Must be still bitter from 2009 playoffs. Lol

MKG I would not move for Hayward. MKG for Hayward is not worth it in any case. A future first could move based on the protection, but I prefer to retain our picks. I'd move a 2nd of course, but is a 2019 Heat 2nd round pick really that valuable? Biyombo I'd prefer to keep, but we could deal him. I mentioned I'd be fine dealing Zeller. But honestly, if Utah has anything it's young big men. Favors, Kanter, Gobert. Are they really going to want Zeller/Biz? I just don't see this working. And regardless, I fully expect Hayward to get a ridiculous contract. Hopefully it won't be us overpaying him and giving up assets.

Jameer would need a time machine to be worth signing here. He's losing his athleticism/quickness more and more each year. He's not too far off from being black Ridnour at this point.

I bet he had a better year last year than Blake and Hinrich. Who do you want so I can see if I can critique it?

As long as he can play 10 minutes/game.

He averaged 32 last year.

Unless McBobby taking 4 mil or less on day 1 then his free agency is gonna be drawn out for at least a week.

There's a tidal wave of backup PG's. The longer these guys hang around, the more dust they collect and the less they will get. Oversupply = buyer's market.

I have leverage on McRoberts with Zeller + Vonleh, 2 high picks I'm invested in to the hilt and I want minutes for them. I start McRoberts off at 3 million and I don't present it until after I hear from Chandler Parsons.
