I view this as good news. No way McRoberts would start in Portland with LaMarcus Aldridge in the forefront right before his contract extension, disinterested in playing the C position. There's only so much money the Blazers would be willing to expend to McRoberts to be their backup

So much for Deng being "free".. looks like every team in the NBA wants him

We're waiting for Lance Stephenson to get out of his movie date. The Pacers made him put his phone on mute through the viewing 8-)

Portland is also interested in Monroe. Will be interesting to see what they do.

It's obvious Higgins was the big talker and Bonnell was his pipeline. Bonnell has no scoop. He is obviously shut out. All they told him so far is they didn't contact Deng, probably in response to Bonnell asking them if they did.

Bonnell was more or less hoping that they did so he could make his article earlier look like some "scoop".

Fail.

They're clearly not interested in any defensive improvement. Good luck to them. I doubt that they could replicate last season's success with a worst 5 defense again

Heat may very well get Deng had a decent price to go with Lebron Wade and Bosh.

Thats a pretty damn good squad.

Word will come out about something either tomorrow or Wednesday. I remember when word leaked about us liking Jefferson last year and 85% of the board started having aneurysms.

I think the only way this board would really hit the fan is if we did something like Walker and a future first for Rondo or something.

Then it would hit the fan on here.
