I know Vonleh was unexpected and I can't prove it, but there's just no way in hell the Hornets were serious about either guy.

This I can agree with because if we were so big on Harris or Young we would have heard something out how hard we tried to move forward when they were falling. If you think you can get a 9 talent at 17 or 19 you are trying hard to move up.

Spencer is also the guy that said we should trade the #9 straight up for Aaron Afflalo.

Which probably ended up being the source for basketballinsiders.com said that we were offering 9 and might be willing to include a roster player. Then the Magic fans swarmed our board like c0ckroaches.

Hes nothing more than a glorified blog writer, kind of like Ben Swanson. They do write some informative pieces every now and then, but they have about as much inside information as "bringbackthebuzz", which is nothing.

No idea how valid this guy is.. But if Lebron, Wade and Bosh are indeed going to resign than the ball will get rolling quickly with all the other free agents..

If those three are resigning with the Heat and Lebron is demanding the max contract they are going to be just as lonely as last season unless Bosh and Wade take huge cuts.

I can't get on Twitter at work, but I read on a news site that Marc Spears said that we were interested in making a pitch to Stephenson. Can anyone substantiate?

Edit: Found the link to his Yahoo article on the Indianapolis Star

I would do that, 15 mill for Lance + Shaun, we would have a few million left to get shooters like Morrow also

Yes, I'd do it. Go big or go home. It's time for Zeller, Vonleh, and Biyombo to show why they were picked in the lottery.

Oh ****, apparently Rick blocked me on twitter. What's better is I was trying to commend him for the revisionist history thing.

We have enough cap space for McBob even if we sign Livingston and Stephenson.[quote="JDR720"][tweet]https://twitter.com/rick_bonnell/status/484060550171602944[/tweet][/quote/]Awesome news. His contract shouldn't stop us from doing much. All things considered, McBob could sign for $4M a year and we'd still have close to $15M cap in cap space to go after Stephenson and a couple vets.

Hmm we have what? 19.5 million in cap?

Lance-10 million
Shaun-4 million
McBob-3 million
Morrow- minimum
3rd string PG-minimum

PG-Kemba-Shaun-?
SG-Lance-Gerald-Morrow-Neal
SF-MKG-JT
PF-Zeller-Vonleh-McBob
C-Al-Biz

that is 14, that is how many players Cliff said he would like on roster

I think Lance would come in at around 11 at least. McRoberts would take at least 5 and I doubt Livingston signs for anything less than 4. We could fit all three in, but we'd be right at the cap.

Very informative. And safe. Hard to look back and claim it was not true at the time. Inside info without sources, pure Bonnell.

Lance at $11M and McBob at $4M are more likely. Then we've got 4-5M for some combo of CDR, Mo Williams, Nelson, Morrow, Livingston, Tolliver, Adrien...
