It's no wonder why he signed so quickly, Meeks is not worth that much.

He's not Greivis, but he's similar in stature, which is much needed. I'd still rather have Greivis, but Livingston would do...

I see Detroit is loading up on shooters. That's a shame that they paid Meeks more than $5 million annually though

different GM, same story in detroit. have they learned nothing? just because you have cap space, doesn't mean you have to use it.

its like the scene in the movie tin cup where he keeps hitting the ball in the lake and refuses to move up to the drop zone and the announcer says "would somebody tell him he doesnt have to hit it from there"

I'd pay Morrow $6M before giving Meeks that much, and for reference, I wouldn't pay either more than $4M.

I LOVE Tin Cup! I have no idea why, it's just one of those movies that I can't pull myself away from.

Maybe Detroit will finally get one of them green like Roy did. Not this time though.

I wouldn't offer Meeks more than $5 million annually out of desperation and I wouldn't offer Morrow more than $4 million annually in despair. Neither player would I consider a priority, so they both could be had for at least 1-2 million less than my max offer once the free agency well dries up

SF-MKG-JT

C-Al-Biz

that is 14, that is how many players Cliff said he would like on roster

No Hairston in there?

I knew i forgot someone lol

Add Hairston
Trade Hendo even if you have to add a second round pick to dump his salary
Forget about Mcbob
Sign Pay Gasol (better scorer, better rebounder, passes just as good as Mcbob, and his high post game goes perfect with big Al's game on the blocks)

Kemba, Livingston, Pargo
Lance, Neal, Hairston
MKG, Taylor, CDR
Gasol, Vonleh, Zeller
Al, Biyombo, (Zeller or Gasol here)

Love seeing something from a qualified writer (Broussard) talking about MJ liking Lance A LOT. Go get 'em Michael.
I continue to wait...and hope...for the return to Hornet's glory.

I always forgot how badly NBA GMs overpay average players this time of year. Meeks isn't worth anywhere near that much.
