We need to up the ante on Vasquez, force the Raptors to either capitulate and overpay Lowry or be forced to match our offer to Vasquez. They're in our conference, we need to do what we can to weaken our competition. The same idea should be in play with Stephenson and the Pacers.

If we add The Venezuelan and Born Ready I will be very happy.

Next to drafting LJ and Zo in back to back years we'd be in the best position this franchise has ever been in.

Y'all bringing back Mcbob? Y'all drafted Noah and you have Cody from last year.

My choices of backup PGs rests with whether we sign Stephenson or not. If we sign Stephenson I care more about bringing in a vet that can shoot but doesn't necessarily need to facilitate that well. Otherwise, I'll take the facilitator or the overall better talent. Nelson and Jack are both so they are near the top of the lists.

If we sign Lance:
1) Trade Hendo for Jack
2) Sign Nelson
3) Sign Mo Williams
4) Sign Vasquez
5) Sign Livingston
6) Sign Ramon

If we can't sign Lance but instead roll with more shooting in CDR, PJ and another FA shooter:
1) Trade Hendo for Jack
2) Sign Nelson
3) Sign Livingston
4) Sign Ramon
5) Sign Mo Williams
6) Sign Vasquez

McBob will be better than both for at least the next year. Vonleh is pretty raw, and Zeller would have to make a huge leap to even compete for playing time on any playoff team. I will be very disappointed if Cody Zeller becomes the reason McBob leaves Charlotte.

I doubt it, mainly because i think we wont pay enough and he isn't guaranteed to start which he wants to do

We seem to have every intention to bring him back, but I doubt we'd get into a bidding war if the price gets too high.

My backup PG list is Greivis Vasquez, Shaun Livingston, Jarrett Jack in a trade for Hendo, Mo Williams, and last and least Jameer Nelson in that order.

Going to come down to $$. McRoberts isn't going to give us a discount and I don't blame him. His first and maybe last really solid contract.

We not offering McBobby more than 4 mil and 2-3 years. We want him back but if somebody is willing to offer him more than that, or equal to that with the guarantee of starting him like the Knicks then he prolly gone. We'll see how it play out. He's one of our priorities for sure and not a afterthought.

Agreed. I don't expect any bidding wars. Maybe a team offers him $3M and then we offer him $3.5M. I think that is the extent of a McRoberts bidding war. No teams are lining up to overpay the 4th or 5th best player on the only team that got swept from the 2014 playoffs.

I think we offer more than any other team will, and McRoberts will take that. He's happy here, his agent is happy with him here, and we're happy with him here. Seems like it should be good all around.

We hope so. Neither Zeller nor Vonleh are ready to start next year and McBob is a perfect fit here. I doubt we overpay though. So it could go either way if someone else outbids us.

I'd give up McRoberts to sign Lance Stephenson.
