Bulls perfect for Melo. 3 prime All-Stars + Butler, Taj, Thibs in weak East.

This.

Basically it's all about money vs winning (or at least deep playoff run - ECF at least on yearly basis)

That weak East comment was unnecessary though, a starting line up for Noah, Gibson, Melo, Butler and Rose can take on anyone in either conference. That's as balanced of a starting line up as I've ever seen on paper at least ever.

Bro, read the Knicks thread and re-assess.

That lineup is gahbage.

Gotta think Lala Anthony is perfectly fine living in Chicago cause back in 2010 the Bulls and Knicks were on Melo wishlist to be traded to

here is an old story from 2010

Yeah, I generally spend a bunch of time lurking there since your board usually has a decent number of threads on basketball, heck even non-basketball topics that are fun to peruse. I'll be avoiding the Melo thread though.

That man needs a good long vacation after this free agency thing. Looks like he's aged about 30 years in the last decade

Would Carmelo really put Chicago on his wishlist in 2010 if Lala wasnt ok living there?

Strange. You've been good in our threads on an opposing board. So long as it remains civil, you're welcome here.

Has the Knicks board constructed a REALISTIC 2015 championship roster?

He said that as a general statement.

I don't see why taking him at his word needs to be called out.

I'm calling people out because of the sheer level of venom that was spewed in Derrick's direction for an offense they ASSUMED he was going to commit. Much of it was over the top and personal. Again, if this doesn't apply to you then great, but it's not like we can't go dig up some of the more bitter and personal attacks on the guy that were posted on the very forum only within the past few days.

It's a great day to be a Bulls fan, but I still don't think he's leaving New York.

Agreed. The nonsense that has been said about Rose over the last few days has been so beyond over the top. To be frank, it's been embarrassing.

Would be an all-time great day if Melo signs for like $15 million.

Apparently running the triangle offense is going to lead to multiple championships as well.

(We'll just ignore the fact that if that was truly the case, then everyone would be doing it.)

We don't even know if Fisher can coach.

He wouldn't be the first Jackson disciple to fail.
