Undoubtedly Lowry is holding out for a full fifth year, pushing his deal to $55 million.
11 million is fair. That's always what I thought would be the price. Personally I'd give him the 5th year if push came to shove but 44 million is fair for both sides

That's a bargain... I was expecting 5-$60 mill. with what Gortat got. I'd happily give him that for a 5th year if that's what it takes. He'd only be 33-34 years old... and that last year with a $11 million expiring is actually very valuable in the trade market.

Exactly. 4/44 is a over payment already. I wanted to give Lowry 3/33 or 4/40. The fact that he's getting a 4 year deal at 11 mill is great for him. If that 5th year is what's stopping him from signing then so be it. No way should Lowry get 5 years.
If Grange is right, the most Houston can give Lowry is 10 million and at that price it would require us to do a S&T in order for Houston to get him. He's getting a extra million per year here and he's in a better position. Only way i'd give him that 5th year is a team option.

I honestly wouldn't mind the sign & trade for Parsons and then make a move to get Bledsoe. That kid can flat out ball. His intensity on D is exactly like Lowry's and plus you can't say enough about his athleticism. He's much younger so that is also a plus. I hope to god that Masai at least contemplates the possibility of getting Bledsoe.
Exactly. Bledsoe is a young two-way player with athleticism that allows him to play above the rim. THE MAN'S NICKNAME IS BABY LEBRON!!!! Hopefully Lowry wants to go to Houston, do a sign and trade for Parson and whatever we can fleece from them, and go after Bledsoe with money and Ross as a trade chip. Rather not trade ross but I'd want to see Bledsoe in a Raptors jersey more.
