Since when is "turning the other cheek" dramatic?

It's melodramatic to use a bible quote in his situation, he's being paid millions to play a game and he's famous and beloved by millions of people.

Jesus never concerned himself with people such as that

Per CBA rules you can't use a trade exception on a free agent even in a SnT.

Is that confirmed?

Yes they did photoshop it and yes he did post that on twitter.

Hmmmm. While I think Lin should understand that seeing as he got paid by Houston, the disrespect I guess is there. Kinda the opposite of the bulls bringing taj in showing loyalty. Still what is Houston to do? Indicate Melo has to change back to 15? Or pick an arbitrary number?

I also forgot that Lin was Christian for some reason, I forgot the whole media thing about that comparing him to Tebow.

What's keeping the Bulls from amnestying or trading Boozer? I mean, if the reports are true that Melo turned down $15 million a year from the Bulls, then why not just clear the extra cap space?

I honestly think Melo would go to the Bulls if they freed up more cap room. Bulls are the best team for Melo. I don't see a sign and trade happening unless the Bulls can free up more than the $15 million they have in space. Knicks can just tell Melo to sign with a team out west who has cap room like the Lakers.

I think they're just waiting to see what he decides before actually making any moves. There's a lot of variables here. Getting rid of Boozer is easy enough (amnesty), but depending on how much Melo wants guys like Dunleavy, Butler, Snell, etc might have to be traded as well.

S&T for Lowry (at 12) for Jones, D-Mo, Beverly, Caanan leaves $9.1M after cap holds. S&T for Carmelo (at $20M) puts them $10M over the cap, $2.9 under the apron. Can they resign Parsons and go over the apron for any amount? If not, he'd get $5.3M to get up to the apron amount with 7 cap holds.

Of course this doesn't even factor in salary matching and assets needed to send to Toronto and New York to make it happen.

Morey may be good but can he really fleece Phil and Masai like that?

You can't sign and trade a 20 million dollar contract into 10 million in cap space.

If they turn the Asik trade into part of the S&T, they could do something like, Asik, Jones, Montejunas, Beverly, and Canaan for Melo (starting at about $17M), and Lin for Lowry (starting at 12M).

They would have $64M committed to Melo, Harden, Dwight, and Lowry, which gives them a lot of room under the apron to pay Parsons and vet mins.

Trolling bruh. What has come out on twitter or anything with Houston ahead of us?
Kris Bryant will go down as the greatest Chicago athlete after MJ

Once Lin's jersey # was given to Melo, I knew it was a bad sign....that local restaurant aka Spaceship Mc D's confirmed it for me. Let's wrap it up guys.

It's not over yet for the Bulls. West is still too stacked, even if the Rockets add Melo.

Easier road to the Finals if you play in the East. It surprises me why more players aren't desperately trying to go to the East.
