lol. what an ****

He can rub people the wrong way but he does have connections..I've followed him a long time. He broke a lot of the deals I watched closely as a Yankees and NFL fan..like Cliff Lee to Phils..Manning sitting a year out..Manning to Broncos..Vick to Jets..

He's not mainstream but I do trust him.

Nobody wants to live in Houston, the weather is somehow worse than Chicago, and the city itself sucks. You KNOW LaLa doesn't want to go there, she can kiss her career goodbye.

Plus East vs West, he's not stupid. Bulls are a better fit.

Let's not start talking about cities shall we? Let's be reasonable men and women.

This is the Bulls board, buddy. We'll trash Houston up and down if we want.

Now me? I don't have anything to say about your city. Because I happen to like fat women.

I don't. Had the heat schooled the spurs yeah Melo would have believed in all top end talent. But the spurs show that a good coach and balanced roster means something too. All the talk of rings, Paxson can personally lay out one more than the Rockets can if that is the pitch. Reinsdorf can lay rings out from 2 sports too. Rose is a huge ? No doubt but so are Howard and harden. I totally see the Knicks being odds on favorites. Chicago is a deep consideration though too. The order of interviews sans the Knicks is how I see it.

Can confirm. Most of us were brought here for reasons outside of our control (parents, marriage, hurricanes, etc...).

I'm assuming you moved to Houston because of Hurricane?!

I am the first to admit that the weather in Chicago is awful.

It's 70% humidity all summer long, and it gets very cold and very wet in the winter.

Houston however is worse, sorry to say.

Parents first, and then marriage. Originally from Chicago, so hurricanes weren't much of a concern.

I want to make sure I understand the basis for your posts.

1. A photo of Carmelo Anthony in a lobby in Houston, with details of a friends friend who said nothing more than that Houston is selling Melo hard on winning championships.

2. A tweet about "a patron" in a restuarant that smiled when saying Melo was still at his lunch meeting.

3. The length of the meeting, based on the assumption that was supposed to "be short." To what report are you referring that the meeting with Houston was to be short?

But the smile Duck...the SMILE!!!!!!!!!!

I pretty sure Melo smiled once or twice as well. Then Dwight probably offered to give him one of his 20 kids that he's berthed. DRose wouldn't even offer to change PJ's name to Melo Jr.

It's over! :P

Objectively speaking, Houston sucks. That's more fact-telling than trashing.

Why Houston not talking to Lebron's agent? Or is he telling his agent not to talk to any team?

Chicago's weather does suck, but it's fine when the winters aren't excessively long (like the last). Goes in cycles though... I think we're due for a milder winter next time. Plus, as an NBA player, you probably spend 25-30% of the year at home anyway... granted, the NBA season weather can be rough (Nov - Apr blew this year), but it makes you stronger.

Houston is not a bad city but it's not Chicago and obviously not NYC. We'll see...LaLa could do very well here.
