I might be excited if that guy got rings running the Bulls, or any organization. But does anyone think Jerry West or Jerry Krause were deferring to Phil on personnel?

If the bulls were in the finals recently then melo could make the argument that he is the piece to put them over the top.
The Knicks have been a mess the last year admittedly. However we just changed regimes. You cannot overlook the fact that the coach and mastermind with the most rings ever is running our franchise.
You guys have own way more games the last 2 years than you should of thibs has done an amazing job but is he seriously better than pjax?
Of all teams you should give us credit on that one

What do rings have to do with anything in this context? Look at it objectively, Chicago has been on another level compared to the Knicks just the past 4 years. The Bulls, with their team and their front office, have shown a remarkable degree of consistency, stability, and have managed to maintain a certain level of performance regardless of circumstances, injuries, etc.
The Knicks have just been a complete mess. If they're not trading half the roster away one year, they're firing a coach in another or somehow still not managing to make the playoffs in a historically awful eastern conference

Put that **** on a billboard. Perfect fit man. Perfect.
Defense does not win championships but it helps. You can't win a ring in the NBA today only scoring 70 points in games. That's not going to cut it against the elite teams. It's about buckets and defense.

Either that or he just got a look at this months child support bill.

As much of an odd-couple he and Melo may seem I think there's a true connection it seems
It's actually reminding me of Chris Paul and Doc Rivers last year where they both wanted each other and the Clippers made it happen

Just didn't scream...this was a freakin awesome visit. In fact, none of the parties involved seemed all that enthusiastic about how everything went. Again..if that's my bias, shake me, slap me, and tell me to shut the hell up.
