I'd bet money the Jazz match anyways though.

Re-sign our hometown MVP?

I said it before, but I really wouldnt be surprised if this was just a ploy by the Cavs to get things moving with LBJ and put more pressure on Riley.... oh by the way, cross Lowry off the list of potential FA's for Miami.

I'm liking our chances more and more every day.

USA Today reported tonight that Cleveland will not be offering a contract to Gordon Hayward after visiting with him today. Let's put this rumor to bed. Hayward is clearly not worthy of a max contract. I'd be surprised if that was anything other than an attempt to drive up his price.

Also, Amico:

No offer extended tonight, or possibly ever.

Cavs biding their time, waiting for LeBron/Miami situation to develop. Tactical patience. I like it.

Sorry, but I am and always have been in the 'no effing way LeBron comes back in 2014' camp. I'm amazed at how many Cavs fans count on it (particularly outside of RealGM).

Him coming back this year is under 5% at the minimum for me. And the future is reliant on a multitude of factors but I'd peg it as unlikely (at best) next year, and every year until his next contract ends.

What if.....

Cavaliers decide to trade for Love - guarantees be damned?

LeBron signs with Cavaliers.

#wishfulthinking or just #advancedpreparation ?
For the max I would move to Baghdad if I had to.
You've obviously not been in the Army recently!

I do agree with one message this offer sheet sends to the league:

"CAVS HAVE MOVED ON AND ARE NOT WAITING FOR LADOUCHEBAG!!!!!! "

if we trade for Love without trading Wiggins, sure, but if we trade Wiggins, I'll to have to find a new hobby, give up on the NBA completely.

Actually, yes I have. But I wasn't in Baghdad. Balad, Baqubua and Jalula. They are worse places. I just thought I'd use the one that people would recognize.

I think the max talk is bogus. A few local journalists that hear from Hayward's agent that he's looking at max deals from Phoenix, or from Cleveland.

Gordo isn't worth 12M, let alone 15M.
In '03-'04, Jerry Sloan coached the ESPN predicted "worst team of all time" to 42-40.
