It would only mean something if Melo asked for the meeting the second time. NY I'm guessing gets the last word no matter what.

Not what they can say to Melo. Its what he can say to them. Either he will tell them something about how his trip has gone, or he won't. If he won't, you have to assume he is hiding an agenda, and you move on

I see no reason to talk your way out of a sale either.

I think the Bulls FO needs to just play it cool. They did their part and now it's Melo's decision.

It's like chasing after a girl. To bring some real life experience about this, last year senior year of HS, there was a girl who clearly liked me, but I just played it too cool and she's the one who got away... Bulls gotta show Melo they want him badly especially with how NBA players ego's are in this day and age where they want to be constantly loved.

Melo likely has all of the information he needs to render a decision on the Bulls. But if you are the Bulls, do you really want to leave him alone for long with his thoughts if you can pop in and say a few extra words?
If you are Melo, do you really mind a team going that far when you are torn on what to do? That little bit extra may make all of the difference.

Remember, He is a Knick until he decides otherwise. We need every opportunity to change his mind that we can muster.
