Despite all of Gasols struggles and dantoni not even wanting him on the floor and making him shoot 3s... He still average 9 rebounds and had one of his best rebounding seasons per 36. He was a 17/9 guy and a person like that in our front court with the big 3 would be great. Not the same defensively but he would help rebounding big time

Gasol fits but Ariza fits even more, but it will be tough

if we got Ariza, i'd be shocked out my mind. I live in the DMV (DC, Maryland, Virginia area), i KNOW the wizards love this guy and will pay him. They have committed to the team they want and will likely outbid us, he's about his money too. ALot of these young guys won't help us out. Get Marion or Vince - Marion is better defensively but at least Vince tries. Vince is a better creator but he likes to jack shots, however he will help to take the scoring pressure off Lebron especially when Wade is struggling.

Kris humphries is a good rebounder and would help us at PF, but for the rigtht price...

Pacers trying to sign and trade for Rondo? Once again they don't have much played in value unless they give up picks and most of their roster

Would be fine with Gasol/Hawes/Blatche + Morrow & Aminu

Or Blatche + Ariza & Aminu (We can obviously only afford 1 of Ariza, Gasol, Hawes.... at best.... maybe)

Aminu is a great defender and a very good rebounder for his size. Can't shoot worth a **** though.

Lebron is all about the players so it's possible.

The last 2 teams standing in the finals, all the star players were discounted. This resonated with me when lebatard said that

i like Gasol but is he really considering the Thunder and Spurs over us, who can barely pay him and are in the wild wild west.

Mind you we play in the EAST where we dominate - Im going to guess Riley didn't particularly act like he was in love with Pau and really didn't have much to offer Pau since he's so focused on Deng and Ariza smh

PG - Hinrich/Mo Williams/S. Blake

SG/SF - Ariza/Deng/Wesley Johnson/Aminu

PF/C - Boozer/Gasol/Hill/Udoh

Take one from each category (perhaps a 2nd out of the wing or post categories) and call it an offseason. Of the players listed, 5 of them are in L.A. where Riley is visiting.

PG - Hinrich, Cole, Napier
SG - Wade, Allen, Wesley Johnson
SF- James, Ariza, Ennis
PF- Boozer, Haslem
C - Bosh, Birdman, Hamilton

I think the wing will come of the bench but play more minutes than Wade this season, eventually starting over him in the 2015 season with Wade assuming a Ginobili role.

Melo has a scheduled meeting with the Lakers and Kobe. It's all over ESPN lol. Kobe flying in from Brazil or something to pitch Melo.

I don't want Melo with the Spurs or Thunder. He makes both teams a lot better. I rather have him stay in LA or go to NY if he ain't coming here.
