That's a solid move. Kudos to Dirk. Cuban's gonna take care of him for life after too.

Just got a flash of Mark Cuban cradling a geriatric Dirk, breastfeeding him. So thanks for that.

First the Heatles and now Dirk signing for less is only setting the tone for Melo, and guess who's benefiting the most from it? Us!

But I'm just returning...why is the board gloomy now? Has anything real happened?

What the hell does Kobe insist on talking to Melo for? I don't get it. He's not coming to LA, so why bother?

Kobe's pissed that he got on a plane from Europe and then Melo moved the Melo-Lakers meeting (to a time that Kobe could not make) so that Melo could meet with Phil. Kobe demanded that Melo meet with him. Melo agreed, since it was he who caused the meeting time to change (by agreeing last minute to meet with Phil).

KC Johnson on the Game

- Defended Gar and Pax as callers have been calling for their heads to fired cause they cant land the big fish (Rose getting hurt messed with their plans)

- 2 teams that are interested in Carlos Boozer should he get amnestied are the suns and lakers

That was pretty much all I caught Didnt talk about Carmelo really

Just slide him the briefcase with the cash matching Taj's salary and be done with it!

Trust me i want Melo on this team as much as anyone else.

With that said Lance might just be a better player to add.

Lance on the bulls could get you 18 pts or so. Melo on the bulls will get you 22 to 25 or so.

So Melo scores 7 more points. We all understand the NBA is a +/- game.

How many more point's can Lance hold his player down on D vs what Melo will do on D. i think anywhere from 4 to 8 pts easy.

With that said you can get Lance way cheaper keep your assets and maybe even add another player or two and fill out the roster. Not to mention he is lance is 7 yrs younger.

I just don't know how much Melo 7 pts or so on avg is worth vs Lance defense and ball handling.

I understand the Bulls need scoring and Melo is a perfect fit to provide that.

With that said Rose can score at a mvp level

Doug mcbuckets and Mirtioc can score as well. I also think Butlers scoring will increase some next yr as well.

With Butler and Lance on D they will give the other team SG/SF hell all game.

Too late, Melo's going to the Hornets. They have cap room, and he'd be playing alongside the murderer's row of MKG, Cody Zeller, Kemba Walker, Al Jefferson, and Noah Vonleh.

No chance Melo would come to Chicago without Rose, Noah and Taj. Absolutely no point in anyone acting like he would be used in any deal except one for Kevin Love.

I dont think Calderon in NY is going to get the knicks to a Ship. He can't defend a wet napkin.

But to each his own.

I still love Phil, just dont think Fisher is gonna lead you to a ring.

Either way, even without Melo I am excited for next season. Still think we need a SG who can score.

If we continue the current NBA trend, maybe we can get Nick Young to 4 year 60 Million? Or is that too low.
