Thibs should be furious with his agent if Melo really did dick us around like this......Leon Rose had more then enough time to let on that Melo wasn't serious about any of this Sh**

I'm not one to defend Anthony's character, as I've never been too high on it, but the recruiting Gasol business might have been a last-ditch effort to find help. If the Knicks can sign the guy he wants, he's pretty likely to stay. If they can't, that's something the edges him closer to the door. That doesn't mean he always intended to stay all along.

I don't have a problem is Melo goes back to the Knicks. especially at the mega max. He'll cripple that team, we'll beat them and I think the players will have even more motivation to beat them and especially him. They will be lucky to win a game in the playoffs unless they come up with something pretty spectacular. The thing is that they really didn't need Phil to get Melo to accept a mega max deal. But they just started a rebuilding process with a 100+ million man in his 30's on their payroll.

Bulls fans know Rose and his pre season games. You guys believe in him since he is only 25 years old.

What I see is a player who had an ACL injury and rested(rehabilitation) for a long time and then came back just to hurt himself again by simply jogging.

Melo has every right to be concerned. He may believe in Rose and it's possible that he becomes his old self, but due to his risky playstyle and Melo's tenure with Amar'e, I doubt he will ultimately choose Chicago.

You're not giving the "scoop of an outsider." You're trolling.

if he would post this stuff on the knicks board he would be banned forever.

And Dwight Howard had back surgery which is pretty much a death-knell for big men. He's also had multiple shoulder issues. What's your point?

That people tend to think about recent memory more than the past.

If I hear Dwight Howard, I imagine a big guy who throws down alley oop dunks and swats big shots.

If i hear Rose, I imagine a guy who was pretty good in the past, but hasn't done **** the past few years other than watching games courtside.

That's human nature.

And when I think of Dwight Howard I think of a 7 foot tall turd who would rather have his own reality TV show, and knock up 16 year old girls than play basketball.

Because there are only a few big fish, three of them decided to play together in Miami.

That's free agency. It's not a reflection on the FO or the team in general.

After all of this, all of his options, he wants to play in NY with Pau Gasol. Not Derrick Rose & Joakim Noah, not Dwight Howard and James Haden, not Dirk Nowitzki and Tyson Chandler, not Kobe Bryant or Lebron James.

PAU FREAKING GASOL??????

I will never understand this. Never.

Pretty much what Woj said. He was using his free agency to recruit players to NY.

It's pretty simple. He'll make a crapton of money. He'll live where he wants to win. He needs someone else though. The biggest reason i'm not mad about Free Agency is that so far it hasn't mattered for any team other than Miami, and the Knicks don't get any better by this signing.
