Not really. Just a lot of Negative Nancies and people overreacting to every single Tweet sent out. I'm skeptical we'll get anything until Monday.

As a wing player/SG who can get his own offense, create, break down a defender and get to the basket, absolutely. And he comes without the mental issues, off court baggage and $50 + million price tag of Lance.

Complain about choosing Boozer, signing Wallace, etc, but the risk aversion premise doesn't hold up to scrutiny. Plus, half the things you've complained about the past few pages weren't even good moves--Dwight to LA? Monta Ellis?

I'm still cautiously optimistic. If he leaves, it has to be for Chicago, but the panic is a good reminder that him staying is a very real scenario and we should be thinking about backup plans.

Far too many people panicking over nothing. Apparently everyone thought Melo was just going to visit us and then say "**** the rest of my FA tour. I am coming to Chicago." That was never going to happen.
