The offense I get his role..
But say hawes/Plumlee combo seems odd as you want Plumlee to be your rim protector and with hawes not playing the 4 very often in philly and cle its something to be wary about.

Unless he's coming off bench.

A's over Royals. Lester and experience will prove that he's worth the trade.

Tigers winning it all. Tigers are, imo, peaking at the right time.

Our lineup looks like this:

Dragic/Ennis
Bledsoe/Goodwin
LBJ/Warren
Love
Plumlee/Len

What do we do to fill out the roster? I think it makes logical sense to bring back Frye and Tucker in that scenario, but I'd have serious concerns about our backup guards. One injury away from handing a starting spot to a 20 year old. Now, in this scenario the Suns should still have a little cash to play with presuming Frye does indeed sign for less than his $9m hold. So you're looking at around 3-5 million to spend before extending Bledsoe and Tucker....who do you bring in?

Right now we are trying to address our problems. I don't think we need to start worrying about addressing hypothetical problems just quite yet, particularly on a team that starts LeBron and Love.

But we could always keep Ish Smith and sign a guy like Brandon Rush who is REALLY under the radar right now.

I don't think anyone really cares about this. We all know they suck each others' dicks behind closed doors. LeBron only had to act like he cares about it because he's the best player in the league. Just like he had to act like he actually cared about the Sterling nonsense.

As frustrating as it is not hearing any leaks its that much more impressive that Suns FO has kept everything so quiet.

Hawes plays the Frye role. Plain and simple. All he does is help clear the lane for the slash bro on offense, but provides better rebounding and 3 pt shooting. Neither are around for D. If he MoBros can shoot the 3, let them do it. Mook suddenly is now a much better 3 pt shooter, and Kieff has gotten much worse. I don't think he should get much, but if we don't sign anyone else, it doesn't hurt that much, particularly if he doesn't make much. You can always trade a 7 ft stretch 4/5 if you need to, even if for a 2nd round pick.

Oh I bet. Best to keep real quite. From a business prospective you don't want to leak information.

I agree with you.. That's why they signed Dirk to a contract earlier today.

Sarver spotted in Cleveland speaking to LeBron's reps.

Also, $8m a year is way to much for Hawes.

That is interesting, very interesting. Makes me wonder if that was actually an interview for Sarver. In other words, Lebron clearly has concerns about Robert and his past, perhaps this was way of putting those concerns to rest?

When an agent asks to explain the plan for their client who happens to be the biggest name in the basketball world today, you send the kitchen sink. This is good....very good. Any concerns about not spending can be extinguished by the man himself.

Speaking of Dirk, I don't remember him ever looking like this.....but they still COULD have space for Melo detailed above the pick...or LeBron, but I'm guessing they've moved on from LeBron.

I don't think lebron picks phx but we have his attention. For stars to recognize that phx is up and coming is a HUGE step in the right direction.

Just a matter of time when phx is again the destination of choice.

Tucker would be a no brainer since he's restricted. We can bring him back without worrying about the cap. Maybe make a run at Mike Miller? Our staff can probably keep him healthy like Memphis' did.

Cue the "multiple sources" meme.

Hahaaha this is bull s**t. Broussard is totally using that Joe Lull guy and not even giving him his due.

People like Broussard are what's wrong in the world. Frauds like him need to be locked up.

Did Lull get as in depth as Broussard did?
I know he's not always right but what if he is this time? Do people stop getting on his case about his rumors?

I'm no knocking you, it's just the general forum population who hates the guy.

Why do people post anything Broussard tweets if it's not believed to be true?

Not true. Lull mentioned that he saw Sarver today. Broussard said yesterday and the talks were around teaming LBJ and Bosh or Melo.

The biggest news here is that it seems like the idea of trading for Love might be dead. At least for now. I'm real good with Bosh though.

What makes you think that? What Broussard said about teaming him and Bosh?
If so, it's probably because we'd have a deeper team with Bosh as opposed to trading for Love.

IMO, I'd rather Bosh. he has chemistry with LeBron and championship experience. He can replace Frye too.

If Melo and Lebron turn to the West. Does the NBA change the playoff standings?

Would they have enough cap to get him? Their team would actually be pretty nice with James. Still not as appealing as our team though :)

I don't see any way he considers the Cavs. They are too young and inexperienced and not a good team at all. Plus there would be so much drama surrounding his return. I think he avoids Cleveland like the plague.

No to Cavs....to young.
No to Mavs...to old.

Yeah I think they have enough. But dirk is fading away (look at his numbers) and chandler is the walking dead. Not impressed.
