We would if we traded Taj. For Lebron, you do what ever the hell it took. But that's all of little consequence because Lebron isn't signing here. For what would be left, he could just as well stay in Miami. Coming up with the money though wouldn't be an issue.

Well if Phil is unwilling to take back Boozer the deal goes down and we dont take back any bad contracts to start. Because we now also lose the MLE.

So Sac pick and our 2015 pick are in play i would think. Snell would be available for sure, not so sure about Mc3 or Mirotic.

So sac pick, 15' pick, snell and possible Mc3 -or- Mirotic.

I think he would if the deal was right. He is expiring, i wouldnt mind him. Im just saying what the report had said.

I know its OT, but ive been seeing stuff on twitter about the Big 3 not being on the same page and apparently Rondo is getting traded for Bosh? I called bs on that tho cuz i doubt bosh agrees to a S&T to boston. But maybe the east will be wide open unless all this is a smokescreen

@Chris_Broussard: Source: Melo did not give the Knicks an answer or a timetable tonight. He will take the long weekend to think things through.

How so?

Westbrook and Rose both had MCL's which are less serious. Rose also had an acl. West rooks surgeries were just cleaning up his knee not additional injuries.

Rose was fine from the ACL just rusty. People forget in the few games he played he gave Lillard and Irving fits when guarding them. Westbrook had three surgeries on his knee meniscus whether minor or not that is still two more compared to Rose.

I generally believe Rose is fine but he never truly showed his lateral quickness yet in his return. We do not what the mental impact of his other knee is going to do. This is truly uncharted waters and it does not compare to Westbrook. I have full faith in Rose coming back but I am not the one staking 60 million and legacy on it either. Melo has also faced a teammate with bad knees before. Westbrook was also a tank prior to injury having never missed a single game at any level prior to that. It just isn't an apple to Apple comparison.

Melo is going back to NY and to be honest, I'm happy for him. If that's where he feels the happiest then kudos to him. I don't see the Knicks turning that thing overnight but in the end, who knows.

Don't tell our esteemed visitors.

With Broussard's history of accuracy, I can only assume that Anthony hasn't met with the Knicks yet, and that NY offered him a verbal non-max offer despite not meeting.
