i wonder what number he is gonna wear here...my guess is 55, after my high school basketball number.

Ok, yeah. I'm growing weary of waving candy in front of lebron to entice him. This is getting old. This diva attitude is just another reason why lebron rubs people the wrong way.

See this is what I don't understand. Does LeBron think that 'Melo is gonna wait around to make a decision?

I feel like we should have brought in 'Melo for a visit to PHX. The fact that Dallas and Houston both have already done that might come in to their favor.

If LeBron wants to team with 'Melo in PHX, then he needs to hurry and make a decision before 'Melo decides.

I dont think they care. Wade didnt walk away from gauranteed money without knowing lebron was 100% going to re-sign. Bosh is the one taking a pay cut why isnt his camp trying to raise his value? I find it hard to believe there no team in the nba interested in Bosh just because he wont come with lebron.

They made their decision,wade opted out, lebron went on vacation, and now Riley and his agent will play the game.

Complete waste of time for everybody so these divas can get their attention

Mark Stein is on ESPN and called the Suns a favorite to get LBJ is he doesn't sign with Miami.. He said " the Suns can sign Melo or Bosh or Love if LBJ considers them.

As JDLAW astutely pointed out, Bosh and especially Wade were smart to opt out regardless if they knew the deals they could get if they did. They were both due about $40 million over the next two years.

Wade wants to renegotiate to 4 years, $55-60 million, giving him an extra $15-20 million on what will likely be his last contract. He's breaking down, and sure, he's taking a paycut but he is going to get more money overall. Bosh, same thing, and he wants a five year deal worth a lot more, which will take him well into his 30s and likely be his last contract and he will add like $40 million overall. Smart career planning.

Same thing i believe as well. Bosh/Love/Gasol. 2 of those guys we can get at a price way way way less than a maxed out Melo, allowing us to grab a few others (Ray Allen) as well. It also would leave us some cash to spend on re-signing Dragic next year.

After reading through more information and lack of communications regarding what's happening with Bosh, Wade and Riley, about Lebron.
And Rockets being quiet about Melo and any incoming FAs as well as retaining their own FAs.

Two scenarios.

1. He will sign 2 year contract at MAX with player option after 1st year with Heat.

2. Rockets sign Lebron, after they trade Lin for cap space etc.

Why rockets?
They have matchup well with Spurs and with Lebron they matchup well with any one else.

Lebron
Jones
Howard
With a bunch of 3D guys.

Zach Lowe seems to be saying the same things....there must be buzz coming from either other teams, agents, indications based on what Paul is saying.....maybe he says it's down to three teams and the teams out of it know they are.....and the third team feels they are...and this buzz gets back to them.

Reading all these teaser tweets has given me the biggest basketball related erection. The simple thought that the Suns are among the few teams Lebron may actually be considering and that we have the capability of literally telling him he can bring one of his buddies along with him while keeping Dragic/Bledsoe is outstanding.

Please for the love of god and everything basketball related gives the Suns a little good fortunate for once.
