So much information flying around! I reckon I preferred the off season before twitter!

Gasol is a Boozer replacement.

Joakim Noah and the Bulls were in LA to court Pau Gasol today.

Taj must not be in the circle of trust

We keep Taj if we get Melo. If not, all bets are off.

Pau would make a nice third big sharing the front court with Noah and Love.

That and the fact that both Duncan and Dirk JUST left that on the table. Like just now.

One thing that I've taken from this whole Melo saga is that K.C. Johnson's tweets are worthless.

Here is where you are getting confused. You're assuming the injuries have made him a lesser player physically when the ACL did not do that and the meniscus isn't going to do that (Westbrook). Yes he was rusty and he probably will be to start next season but that goes away as you play. Not being as quick, lacking elevation those are sign of past injuries taking a toll. People have to stop confusing rust with actual physically diminished skills which is what you've done.

We never saw the ACL fully played out though and I am only speaking from Melos perspective. 10 games most not good the last few well really good. He refused to come back after the ACL. Perhaps by no means sure that may have contributed to the MCL. Now questioning to play with team USA. Just talking from Melos perspective who saw granted a much much lesser player in Shumpert come back and having to deal with Amare, you might understand that he might have a question mark or two.

What is more likely to happen. Rose stays healthy or a rookie coach and general manager put together a championship roster? I think Melo saw the ACL as just fine win Derrick hit the game winner against them at the United Center. Plus Melo defended Derrick about how he handled the ACL injury saying people need to lay off him and let him do his rehab and not rush him. Has Shumpert lost any quickness or athleticism since his ACL tear nope. See you can't say Westbrook and Rose isn't a fare comparison but throw in Amare'. Amare' had micro fracture surgery and a degenerative knee condition which is much worse than anything Rose has had.

You win. Melo is here. Derrick is god. I'm just asking you to look at it realistically

KC has been garbage during this whole thing. Friedell actually stepped up the plate and we gotta give him props for that.

If it's not Taj, it must be Boozer.

Does bullslas have sources.

No clue, do you know what page he posted that on? If so, can you link me to it? I want to see his user profile and look through his previous posts.

I think it was page 46

You're setting yourself up for devastation. Also, you're blaming the wrong people. FO has done a bang up job in things they can control.

Why is it everyone here assumes Melo just wants Gasol to come to NY, and couldn't possibly consider that Melo wants also to find out if Gasol wants to go to the Bulls as well.

I know Bulls plan was 'take less', but man actually seeing terms and trying to think from Melo's standpoint, it's just not that convincing.

[tweet]https://twitter.com/BullsBlogger/status/484891999741304833[/tweet]

I am still keeping sliver of hope that he'll put faith in the Bulls roster, but that is still a huge leap.

I think FO believes the Championship window starts today. Gasol has experience and success they are looking for.

Man, Jo has been a real trooper with all his involvement in the recruiting process. Hopefully he starts and ends his career as a Bull, not just because he has recruited for us, but just due to his devoted commitment to this franchise. Other players may come and go, but hopefully he stays and has his jersey retired as a Bull.
Why so serious?
