Does nobody remember when Collison was a starter? He was bad and jumped around teams because of it.
He's a good backup PG, I think he'll fit decently with the Kings.

As the starter or backup?

Good question. I'd say backup. Wasn't McCallum doing fine this year?

Mc Callum played very well towards the end on the season... I wish he was available.

Re: Collison
I think this confirms that IT will be gone and that could mean that smith gets traded
I came here to do two things: get lost and slice **** up & I'm all out of directions.

Re: Collison
Kings will not sign and trade Thomas for Smith, mainly because they do not have the money to do so, even with them using stretch provision they are going to do on one of their contracts, hopefully Jason Thompson's contract, it pushes them close to the luxury tax, which i doubt they cross

Re: Collison
I think it depends on how badly the Kings want Smith.
I mean if they really wanted him, they could do Thomas/Landry/Outlaw (for example) for Smith and come out of the deal with roughly the same cap number they currently have. We have the cap space to take on a little extra cash in a trade.

Re: Collison
The incoming and outgoing salaries for both teams would be fairly similar but Sacramento doesn't have Thomas on the books right now (except for his cap hold). They would actually increase their team salary by about $7 million more than what it is now in this kind of a deal.

They do no come out with the same number as before. The Number they have now does not include thomas's new contract, it would basically be giving Landry or Thompson for Smith, which would add almost 8 million dollars more to their cap than they originally had before the trade. The Kings are not 8 million dollars away from the luxury tax. With the stretch provision they can only save them so much. It would put them over, which they are very unlikely to do

Re: Collison
Collison is not a starter, he's solid backup, that's it.
