Reports are they patched things up a while ago. And, who knows what cloak and dagger nonsense has gone on. Like Gilbert smuggling himself into LeBron's mansion, dressed as a chamber maid? Or Z, on horseback, acting as a middleman in a clandestine meeting in some windswept, Western locale?

Dragic is now a SG and the 2nd best SG at that. Kieff Morris was runner up in 6th man of the year. Bledsoe is LeBron's close friend. Bledsoe is also a young and developing player (even though he does have injury concerns). And of course, Miles Plumlee who is a raw very athletic developing center.

Oh and did I mention that Suns could sign LeBron & Bosh or LeBron & Melo without having to trade any of the guys listed above?

I really don't understand why its hard to see the appeal to PHX.

Cap space is underrated, especially if you have the chance to sign Melo/Bosh to pair with Bron.

By "Solid" do you mean an All-NBA Pg, and a player that put up 18, 5 and 6?

I'm not sure if your definition of "solid" is the same as mine......

I admit, PHX has appeal. That is why I think they have a shot. Even without 'Melo in the fold.

The problem with trying to wargame LeBron is that we operate off variables that may not apply to him. I firmly believe he settled on a course of action well before opting out. All this is window dressing.

That's what I think as well.

I don't understand what other reason Bosh or Wade have to opt out of a s**t load of money.

This is all to make Riley get off his ass and do some work.

I just disagree that PHX is some dump that nobody would go to.

PHX is no dump (team). This can only work if LeBron threw his teammates under the bus insofar as they aren't on the same page. With his track-record, I wouldn't be surprised if he did so.

This reminds me so much of the draft talk that had the FO want one thing and Gilbert wanting another I wonder if Gilbert want Ladouchebag back but everyone else in the FO does not

I was going to create a new thread but I will put this here. Question for all of you:

What roster are we going to pitch LeBron? It sure as hell cannot have all of these rookies on here. I suck at cap numbers and holds. Love is the first chip. But I think we need to go much further in getting better vets and bench help.

What do yo guys have other than a bunch of young guys that have done NOTHING. Bennet, Wiggins, locker room issues with Waiters. You won the draft lottery 3 of the pas 5 years. You have establish absolutely no winning culture. Coach? C'mon fellas, I know you want to see your team as the best fit like everyone else but c'mon be honest with yourself.

Must have missed all all of those Suns championships. We have Kyrie, and a phone call away from getting Kevin Love. Both players are better than anything you have in years. So you can go sit down now......although I did hear Eric Gordon is available. Perhaps you guys can reach out?

Well you would assume the most likely deal for Love would include Waiters, Bennett, and Thompson and picks. That leaves you with this roster:

Irving/Jack/Dellavedova
Wiggins/Karasev/Harris
James/Felix/Hopson
Love/
Varejao/Zeller/Haywood

Obviously there are two huge holes on that team at backup PF and backup SG. Plus I still think that Jack wants out and that management wants to grant his wish. I would not be surprised if Jack and Haywood's contract are packaged for a backup big. Brooklyn has been chasing Jack for a while, but unless we could get AK who has a history with Blatt, Im not sure who else fits. JKidd also really wanted Jack and the Bucks have a need at backup PG. I could see the Cavs targeting Pachulia as a solid vet backup. Plus then we sign an additional backup big ring chaser for cheap. Here's a list of a few available big's that fit the bill:

Chris Anderson, Dejuan Blair, Ed Davis, Boris Diaw, Rashard Lewis, Charlie Villanueva

Pick one of those guys, I'll say Blair, and add in the big we trade for with Jack and Haywood's contract, I went with Pachulia, and all of a sudden our front court would be pretty solid, especially considering Love can play the 5 for stretches, and LeBron the 4.

Trading out Jack would give us a small hole at backup PG assuming Delly isnt ready to take that large of a role. If there's one thing we've seen, it's that there are always a ton of backup PG's available in free agency:

Jarryd Bayless, Steve Blake, Aaron Brooks, Mario Chalmers, Jordan Farmar, Jimmer Fredette, Kirk Hinrich, Jameer Nelson, Luke Ridnour, Ramon Sessions, Earl Watson, Mo Williams

Take your pick of one of these guys, Im picking Mo, on a small deal and suddenly the only hole remaining is backup SG. It's been widely reported that Ray Allen wants to follow LeBron for one more season to see if he can get another ring. Now it would take some major convincing to get him to Cleveland, but with Love, Irving, and Wiggins all on board I have a tough time seeing him say no.

Final B Mac dream, but not all together unfeasible roster:

Irving/Williams/Dellavedova
Wiggins/Allen/Karasev/Harris
James/Felix/Hopson
Love/Blair
Varejao/Zeller/Pachulia

There might be a bit of a crunch on minutes in the back court, but I would expect that team to go small quite a bit with Love at the 5, LeBron at the 4, and Wiggins at the 3. Imagine a 3 point shooting lineup of: Irving/Williams/Allen/James/Love :o

Anyways, back to reality...

Move #1 (sign and trade with Clippers)

Cavs get DeAndre Jordan and Jared Dudley
Clippers get Deng and Varejao

Move #2 ( trade with Twolves)

Cavs get Kevin Love
Wolves get T.Thompson, Waiters, Bennett

Move #3 (the return)

Cavs sign LeBron

Move #4 (trade with Hornets)
Hornets want to move Henderson, and they need a backup PG

Cavs get G. Henderson
Hornets get J. Jack

Move #5 (get the vet backups)

Anthony Tolliver as a stretch 4
Kirk Hinrich or Steve Blake as PG

Kyrie / Hinrich or Blake
Wiggins / Henderson
LeBron / Dudley
Love / Tolliver
Jordan / Zeller

This team demolishes the East and walks into the finals. Defense on the wings, great defender of the paint, great rebounding, big 3 (Bron, Love, Kyrie) scoring punch, great in half-court or in transition, and great passing. Just a complete team.

Few things.

1. I just cannot see the Cavs getting Love without sending Wiggins. I hope your right.
2. The thought of stealing Diaw away from SA really excites me.
3. That last lineup looks good to me

I knew you were a little obtuse by your Madonna comment. You can infer how deep her love box is without experiencing it. But maybe you were saying what you said to try and devalue my comment on your bench..... "He is wrong about Madonna, so obviously anything he posts about their bench is wrong."

Your bench is better than ours  Waste of time if I have to convince you otherwise. Like someone said, your team is a bunch of rookies. And a Kevin Love trade is on speed dial......right.

That's the problem with every team but us. We don't have to do jack that has to deal with another team. Saying and doing are two different things.

Lebron isn't dealing with what-ifs in his decision (if it hasn't been made up yet, I believe its with Miami), he is looking at what is.

What is, is like your poster said earlier; you have a bunch of rookies running around. If Lebron is looking at growing with a young roster, then Cleveland is where he should go. Maybe Wiggins turns into a stud. Maybe Bennett turns into a stud. Maybe Waiters and Kyrie get along. Maybe Minny trades with you.

Maybe Lebron forgave all of the fans that gave him the finger when he left and burned his jerseys. Maybe he forgave the owner that wished bad on him like he was the leader of a demonic cult....just maybe :-?

Things that make you go hummmm.....
