Hayward is not a max-caliber player.

Anything under 10 mill I'd be happy. Otherwise it's not worth it.

I hope you guys take Hayward off our hands, I'm one of the Hayward haters and I just don't think he is worth big money at all. He was the #1 option on our team played 36 Minutes a game was only able to average 16 ppg on 41% shooting and 30% from 3. I think at best he's the 3rd option on a good team and definitely not worth max money.

The Jazz will match anything resembling a reasonable offer. Heck, they might match a MAX offer. Unless your goal is to screw up the Jazz payroll I'd probably turn my attention elsewhere. (of course it's always nice to damage your opponents, but, gotta weigh that against your other opportunities)

I agree. I think even though it is an overpay, Utah has NO reason not to do it because their cap situation is very nice. They have to use it anyway. Who are they going to lure there to replace him? Surely no one as good.

Hayward's agent is leaking these crazy max rumors to get his agent paid. Cleveland quickly dismissed them as false, not sure if Phoenix is really serious about him or not. Could all be fud.

lol, no, it wouldnt cost that much. When losing an RFA no one gets "fair" value, the only reason he would be leaving is because its a contract Utah reeeeeally wont want to match, in which case the Suns have little reason to throw in trade value.

But I agree with what seems to be the majority here. Gordon is a nice player, but not someone I want to break the bank for, and certainly not someone I want to break the bank AND trade for. I'd offer him 48 mil, 4 years, Utah will almost certainly match and I'd let that be the end of it.

Ermmmmm hell no.... Hes no where near a max but with Hornaseck coaching him he could be good... But I would rather have the Suns wait for Melo to go to Houston and snatch Parsons. Rockets will be tight on money and Chandler wants to be a bigger part than just a 4th option. We dont want Melo he chucks, no d, doesnt pass, just not a team player Parsons and Dragic are friends and Parsons would be fine leaving if they add a sf in Melo.
