I understand th desire by fans to want to get moving on improving the team, but did we not learn our lesson with the Warrick, Childress, Hedo days? Being in a hurry to do something just so you can say you did something isn't wise. Get the players you want or don't get any at all and save your money and fight another day.

Who else is out there right now worth anything that the Suns should be all over to sign if we move on from our James pursuit? Answer? Not much.

Great point. I totally agree about Warrick and Childress. Nobody was signing those guys for those dollars and length of time so there is no reason to panic. If the Suns do nothing - but bring back Frye and Tucker or maybe another piece - Deng because they can sign him outright and do not need a sign and trade like the Clippers - the team with another year should be better.

Outraged about what? Have you seen the list of free agents this summer?

At the sf in our offense you have to be able to hit the corner 3. Parsons is the best at that satistically and at 6"9 is versatile. Deng isnt a great 3pt shooter and tends to shoot to much.

I'm just saying, by the time Lebron makes his decision, I hope there are other free agent candidates left to choose from, and I'm sure McD and staff are fully aware of this.

The last regime getting guys that they felt could be sold as underrated, was a terrible plan, but that was the last regime. I doubt our new staff does anything like this.

I just hope we don't miss out on the opportunity to even have serious talks with Gordon Hayward/Chandler Parsons and even Luol Deng.

Because people are reporting the news to people the way it makes sense to best suit their wishes for Lebron. Yo u can't say Phoenix has everything for Lebron and should go there if you are a Heat fan, reporter or not; or Lakers or Mavs or Rockets or Knicks reporter. How long did it take for the national media to recognize we were a legitimate suitor for Lebron? They used to dismiss us and laugh while doing so.

Lebron going to Phoenix only benefits Lebron and the Suns....not Jack, Beyonce, Jay-Z, Tobey MacGuire, Denzel, Spike Lee, etc etc...... The ESPN talking points blah blah blah.[/quote]

Exactly why we hate espn as Suns fans lets keep kicking the Lakers ass while there dumbass front office develops 500 and under teams and espn can keep saying "this wont last forever there the Lakers" haha Drag and Bled keep **** on LA please!

Were stalling for Melo to go to Houston so we can get Parsons while Morey trys to resign Parsons but no one wants Lin.

Having the opportunity to greatly improve our roster via free agency, but missing out. Instead, we re-sign Bledsoe (great move), give Markieff an extension (great move), possibly Gerald Green (again, I like it). I'm all for self-improvement, but now all of a sudden our salary cap is tied up with players that we already had on cheaper deals.

As long as we improve our front court and get a all around stretch 4/5. Warren and Goodwins development will be huge for our future cause if both pan out they can get buckets!

And? So what if we don't sign Lebron. We still have a team that won 48 games in the West last year with a first year coach and brand new lineup. You don't think we will be better with a healthy Bled and a year older Miles, Len, Goddwin, Kieff, Ennis, and Warren.

Lebron or no Lebron, we will be damn sure fun to watch. We may not win a title nor get the media attention that we would receive if he was here, but I don't need that as a Suns' fan. Lebron makes us legit contenders immediately, but I can wait 3,4,5 years or whatever it takes to win a title.

Like the BSOS said.....we already won!

LeBron turns 30 this December 30th. He is in his prime and will be for 2-3 more years, then he'll begin a somewhat rapid decline and retire at 36-38. He has super high mileage on his body and once he begins breaking down, the end will come quickly.....look at Kobe. Because of this he is not going back to a broken Miami team for 2 more years. He needs to win now before his window closes. LeBron coming to Phoenix with his buddy Bosh is his best opportunity to maximize his few remaining prime years. The key in Phoenix is that we have the best and deepest team to build around him and Bosh. We have experienced young players who can legitimately ball, plus a solid core of vets who can play when things get serious. In Miami their team is like a retirement home. You aren't winning a championship there.

This is why Sarver/Babby/McD are still talking to Rich Paul for a second day and I think LeBrons team is listening closely.

Kudos to Coro :)

Hayward and Parsons are both restricted, likely to be overpaid, and we lock up our available money while we wait for their teams to match anyway. Whats the point? Deng is ok, but he would be a signing no different then when we panicked for Warrick/Childress. The bottom line is, if the Suns strike out on Lebron, then I want to save cap space.

If we dont get Lebron we need to add some depth, shooting, and rebounding to our front court. I think our back court is special sort of bad boy pistons special minus the intimidating factors.

I just wanna say that none of this would have been possible had the losers who wanted to "tank" this season actually gotten their wish and shown to the league and its' players that we're a bunch of losers.

Carry on.

Parsons is a perfict though if Melo goes to houston and they cant get rid of Lins deal I would offer him 9-10 million

So, been thinking about this. If we sign LeBron, I think the most logical follow-up would be to trade Dragic in a deal for Love. The reasons are simple. With LeBron, we have an extra ball-handler. Dragic would still be useful for getting to the basket and making shots, but much of his contribution could be duplicated in a LeBron-lead offense with Green and Goodwin manning the 2 spot. Dragic will need a big raise next year, and is the best trade chip we have. Dragic, the Morrises, and the Lakers pick for Love probably gets it done without us having to take back Kevin Martin. Moving for Love rather than dumping contracts for Melo allows us to keep Len and Green.

Bledsoe/Green/LeBron/Love/Plumlee
Ennis/Goodwin/Warren/Len

We'd need to add pieces - especially at the 4 spot. But this to me seems like the best team we could put out there.
