If he leaves Miami, Cleveland is by far his best option. He doesn't want any part of the western conference, and a team of Wiggins, Lebron and Kyrie would be immediate contenders.

Nobody ever said Phoenix was a dump. I just said I don't see how they are in the LeBron running. And I still don't. Dragic and Bledsoe are nice players, but there is no one on their roster besides that. Plumlee and Gerald Greene? Lol. And we have cap space too. So that point is moot.

you have an OK bench but Cavs bench would be much better in that case.

I knew you were a little obtuse by your Madonna comment. You can infer how deep her love box is without experiencing it. But maybe you were saying what you said to try and devalue my comment on your bench..... "He is wrong about Madonna, so obviously anything he posts about their bench is wrong."

Your bench is better than ours  Waste of time if I have to convince you otherwise. Like someone said, your team is a bunch of rookies. And a Kevin Love trade is on speed dial......right.

That's the problem with every team but us. We don't have to do jack that has to deal with another team. Saying and doing are two different things.

Lebron isn't dealing with what-ifs in his decision (if it hasn't been made up yet, I believe its with Miami), he is looking at what is.

What is, is like your poster said earlier; you have a bunch of rookies running around. If Lebron is looking at growing with a young roster, then Cleveland is where he should go. Maybe Wiggins turns into a stud. Maybe Bennett turns into a stud. Maybe Waiters and Kyrie get along. Maybe Minny trades with you.

Maybe Lebron forgave all of the fans that gave him the finger when he left and burned his jerseys. Maybe he forgave the owner that wished bad on him like he was the leader of a demonic cult....just maybe :-?

Things that make you go hummmm.....

Hah.

Ok yeah he'll go to phoenix.

now let's see.

Never said he would go to Phoenix. I said he was going back to Miami....please work on your reading comprehension skills. But Phoenix IMO is better than Cleveland. I mean C'mon, dude just posted James, Irving, and Wiggins are instant contenders :-?

I wouldn't include Wiggins in any discussion about the IMMEDIATE future of Cleveland's success. James would have to be a fool to believe Wiggins is going to come in and contribute at a contending level as a rookie. But who am I to burst your bubble. This is your site, so off I go.

But I will be back to say I told you so. 8-)

oh, look at Mr. My team overachieved for a year and now we're legit. Reminds me of the Knicks and Pacers fans begging for respect in years past, when their team merely only overachieved. RealGM needs to stop basing everything on only the past year without context.

I think Phoenix is a legit option, and at least as promising as the Cavs, without all the baggage. I think Miami is a distant third to both of our teams as of now, that could change, but the money just doesn't add up for me at the moment. The Heat bought a couple of rings, and it may be time to pay the piper on those deals.

This guy on Twitter seems to know something no one else knows. Claiming Lebron Back to Cleveland is booked. At the very least, it's entertaining. Hope it's true Cause I hate Dwayne Wade.

I wouldn't go that far. Phoenix is as a legitimate option as any; good roster and cap space.

Phoenix isn't a legitimate option because LeBron wants to win as many rings as possible, and he isn't gonna do that in the Western Conference. Why have to go through teams like the Rockets/Thunder/Clippers/Spurs/etc. every year when you can be in the East and deal with the.....Bulls? Pacers? Wizards?

I saw this yesterday. He does seem to have some odd prescience as he reported stuff that came out hours before the "legitimate" media. Then again, even a broken clock is right twice a day.

Nothing he says doesn't make some sense.

Add LeBron James to any Western Conference playoff team and it is a contender. Perhaps he doesn't want to travel the easy road anymore. Maybe his "legacy" demands he win in the tougher conference. GOAT doesn't come easy.

Not likely, but I wouldn't categorically dismiss it out of hand either.

Oh I definitely agree that he makes a number of WC teams THE favorite. But realistically, he doesn't have much to prove as far as WHO he beats to win titles at this point. If he stays with Miami or goes back to Cleveland, no one's gonna say "he took the easy way out staying in the East". I just don't see much logic in wanting to have to go through the Western Conference every year if I don't have to.

Phoenix has been my second favorite NBA team since the early to mid 90's but these Phoenix guys coming in here are starting to turn me off of that team.

It's almost kind of cute in a way for them to pretend they are about to step up to the table. First it was "We're getting LeBron and Melo!", and this was why they had the advantage over everyone else. Once they realized that Melo had 0 interest in going there it's now "We have Dragic and Gordon!", like those two are even top 15-20 players in the league. I still will continue pulling for the Suns out West, and I hope LeBron goes there if he doesn't come back to Cleveland... I just dont think there is any chance of that whatsoever.

Cleveland's roster as it stands today offers LeBron a lot to look forward to, but I think how the roster looks within the next 2 weeks will be why LeBron chooses to come here.

Pretty ignorant to say that an ALL-NBA guard in Goran Dragic isn't a top 20 player, he obviously was last season.

Sorry Cavs' fans but I had to educate this young fella (I hope he is young with this type of rationale skills).

You don't "overachieve." You achieve what you are capable of. Just because some jack ass says you aren't any good and you show them you are good, doesn't mean you over achieved;it means you proved him wrong, you exceeded HIS expectations, sure, but overachieve :-? It kills me when someone makes a prediction as if it is the law of physics and anything that happens outside of his prediction needs to be framed to fit within his incorrect hypothesis, ridiculous. No you were wrong, period Skip Bayless. No rationale.

You don't overachieve for 82 games.

RealGM needs to stop basing everything on only the past year without context.
:banghead:

WTH does that mean? Throw out what someone did because it didn't fit within your assumptions? A whole season of playing has no context, just so you can have them same incorrect assumptions next year......are you serious!!? Ask the Miami Heat how that worked out for them against the Spurs. It is called denial.

Good Day sir

By that logic that means that Dragic is better than:

Tim Duncan
Carmelo Anthony
Russell Westbrook
Chris Bosh
Anthony Davis
Dirk Nowitzki
Kyrie Irving
John Wall
Roy Hibbert
etc...

Choosing All-NBA team seems a bit odd choice to rank a player like that. I'd put Goran in the top 30 though. Probably around 25 or 26.

Goran Dragic was better last year than Kyrie Irving was, for example. What I said was that Goran was easily a top 20 player last season and I think Bledsoe would've been close had he played all year.
