It looks like the Mavs aren't interested in Bledsoe. Good.

Cuban is a terrible GM he wants a competative team but in 2 years its time to rebuild bud.

I just dont want the Lakers offering him just the thought that he signed with LA even though we will match.....

Has there been anyword on the suns negotiating with Bledsoe? Or do they want Eric to explore to see his value?

I know this statement may not be popular, but I disagree with the way that story talks about Sarver. Dude has some issues, but the cheap label is undeserved.

Its just things hes spent money on... Hes growing up and becoming more of a Colangelo type owner he just needs to develop relationships with the players hes also learned hes not a gm like Colangelo but he will step his foot out like to sign Dragic in 2012 but now he can just sit back and supervise Babby cuz our front office is great now.

Yeah but we have have a lot of good fits...aka great role players. Our goal now should be THE GUY.... someone who not only fits but actually pushes us over the top. Hell..... Warren may be our Sf. of the future or may develope and do what Hayward or Parsons can give us, so why sink 12-13 mill into a guy who won't actually TAKE the reigns away from Dragic or Bledso....... that's the guy you bring in for money like that.... someone who when the signing is announced you know that guy is your ALPHA DOG. If the idea is to bring in a guy who fits well (great shooter... plays some defense) if that is the requirement you can try to reclimate Danny Granger and keep it cheap... but we are actually looking for game changer.....go to.... put us over the top. I would accept signing a guy like Lebron as reason why we might not be able to afford Dragic next year. If our reason for not being to spend money next year is attached to an name like Parsons or Hayward..... F $#k that!!!

I agree and that is exactly what the Suns are trying to do. If we strike out here I don't see the FO tying up resources to commit long term/substantial money to role players. They will continue to stockpile and develop assets so that they are in position to get that star the next time whether it be via trade of free agency.

Exactly. The Suns are in a great position right now. They have cap space, talent, and assets. If we don't get LeBron or another big name, I think that we will stand pat, as we should. Continue to keep building, people are taking for granted how quickly McD has turned this ship around, we need to remain patient and trust that the assets will turn in to a star at some point, or that a star will be developed from our assets.

I think will resign PJ and Hawes to cheap deals save some of that money. And hopefully we only have to give Bledsoe 10-12 milliom a year.

Hmm.. It's definitely interesting, but from a totally random guy. The thing that makes it interesting is how confident he is.

He just said he's unproven, which is valid considering the guy has yet to coach in the playoffs.

We cant give bled a max cuz wutever bled gets Dragic will want but ye save money for when we need to resign Goran and the Morris twins as Warren and Goodwin develop.

Exactly. He has over 23K followers and is pretty damn adamant that it is happening, leaving himself no wiggle room if it doesnt, which is rare. The story he provides (the reasoning) also makes sense as well.

For the last time (maybe) - -Sarver was not cheap - he was just financially inconsistent. Which, to me, was worse than being cheap

If he were cheap - he never would have signed Warrick Childress and traded for Turkoglu (who had multiple years left) when Amare left and Barbosa had one year left. I call that financially irresponsible

If he were cheap - he never would have traded draft picks for cash, remember, could have had either Rondo or Rodriquez, but decided to sign Banks for 21m. Now, he did get $6m for the two picks but two rookie contracts would have been like $1.5m per year so was it that smart to take on Banks when two rookie deals, even with 6m would have been cheaper. No cheap, just dumb

if he were cheap he never would have signed Diaw and Barbosa to long term deals when they didn't need too

Granted, his financial inconsistency meant trading Kurt Thomas to save $16m and not trading Shaq or Ben Wallace for Tyson Chandler - he took the $16-18m again.

So, I don't think cheap - I think financially inconsistent.

Right now, I think the only team that is Bledsoe competition is if the Lakers strike out on Melo, James, meaning no Pau - that they decide to go for it with Bledsoe and go younger.
