I think that MAYBE the reason we haven't been hearing anything about teams making offers to Bledsoe is that the Suns and Bledsoe probably already have the negotiations/figures worked out .

But can't/won't sign him yet till The Suns see whats going on with Lebron .

Don't they have to sign Lebron + 2nd max player BEFORE signing Bledsoe ?? In order to go over the cap ?? Right ?

Marvin Williams solidly on "next" line for threes after top four/five. Talking with Spurs, Heat, Wizards, Hornets, Clips, Magic, Suns.

Really? Are we interested in Marvin?! Really?

I think he is worse than Marcus, P.J Tucker, Gerarld and even T.J. Warren.
Probably he is a cheaper option to substitute Frye if he leaves, playing some minutes at PF.

The problem is are we saving money? PJ or Frye both are key parts of our team regardless if they start... Next year if we get sum1 better I would keep PJ hes our glue guy, our bigger Raja Bell.

If Houston plans on bringing in Hakeem, and Drexler to all their FA meetings with Dwight, 'Melo and now LeBron, why wouldn't/shouldn't we bring in Chuck?

Hell bring in KJ too. Hornacek would like that.

As for the Lakers - if he goes to them - it will be worse than Miami. An older Kobe, Carmelo or Bledsoe or Gasol or Bosh - -with LeBron. And abunch of CBA'ers - that makes zero sense

Cleveland - I don't see it either - -too young.

Houston - now Houston makes sense

Houston was eliminated: "Phoenix met on Wednesday and Cavaliers officials met on Thursday with Paul. Houston Rockets officials spoke with Paul by phone, but were not granted a meeting and have moved on with their pursuit of Carmelo Anthony, sources told Yahoo Sports." - Adrian Wojnarowski

I missed that -- thanks for the clarification on Houston

So, my gut keeps thinking its probably going to be Miami on a two year deal. Ariza or Marvin Williams to South Beach with Wade, Bosh and LBJ.

If not.... why not Phoenix?

David Aldridge: Blazers did not think they'd be able to sign Spencer Hawes, who's talking w/Suns, or Channing Frye, rumored to be target of Cavaliers. Twitter @daldridgetnt - See more at: http://hoopshype.com/rumors.htm#sthash.9MqLuy27.dpuf

It seems that Toronto loves P.J. Tucker, and they have the Mid Level exception, so probably they can offer him around $5M per year. In this case, I think we will match.

Of those names, only know for sure Raptors love P.J. Tucker.

PHX - check and check

When I look at the Suns and adding LeBron to the roster in lieu of Tucker, but say Frye or Hawes at the 4 spot - unless LeBron brings Bosh or Love - combined with an improvement in players, coaches in year 2 of Hornacek - health willing this team would be at 56 wins minimum. That's 8 games. If not more

So I think Phoenix would check the boxes. I am trying to remain cautiously optimistic, not get my hopes up - but the Lakers make ZERO sense to me from a basketball perspective. Cleveland the same as I think there youth is overrated and about three years away. Again, just trying to be rational and realistic and I think if LeBron leaves Miami, BIG IF - the Suns have a good chance. Especially if Love or Bosh come to town with him

I wouldn't match Tucker at 5m unless it was like a two year deal, three year deal max. I am just leery of the MLE type contract. But if Toronto goes the full five year, or any team - I think the prudent move is to let Tucker move on and find a cheaper alternative for 2-3m per year

LeBron will make a decision before Wednesday for sure. So I expect him to meet with teams this weekend and Monday and then think it through Monday night and make a decision by Tuesday night at the latest.

Today he's probably just gonna do fireworks with the family and enjoy the independence of our country being the proud patriot that he is.

Saturday and Sunday will be key imo.

LeBron has a camp starting Wednesday and various "insiders" and Chris Broussard and other ESPN guys have said that LeBron wouldn't want to have this around as a cloud when his camp starts.

I agree with Cleveland being an extremely young team, they're talking as if a 22 year old kyrie irving and a 19 year old andrew wiggins are going to help lebron win a championship next year. Irving has yet to play a game that matters in the NBA and wiggins hasn't even play one game.

While I would even admit that Cleveland probably is a more likely destination than Phoenix, I think it's important for people to keep in mind that Bledsoe and Dragic are both playoff tested players, granted they were both bench players at the time, but both have performed extremely well in the playoffs. The Cleveland roster as it stands, and even if they do add Kevin Love, does not have any playoff experience at all.

I think we should send LeBron a video of Goran destroying the Spurs in game 3 of the Western Conference Semifinals. Goran scored 23 of his 26 points in the fourth quarter! How can LeBron turn that down?!

Damn $6M for Hawes? That's pretty good. Where did the Clippers have the money though?

Return to Phoenix Suns
