Clippers looking for a S&T for Hawes to preserve MLE to facilitate Paul Pierce move:

What is a reasonable offer?

Nothing until LeBron signs.

Then it'll be J Crawford I feel.

how about Hawes, TT, Waiters for DJ if LeBron signs?

They don't have anything I want that's reasonable.

Is Varejao's contract waiveable for the Clippers?

Hawes + Varejao, + oicks for DeAndre would be cool, very unlikely but cool.

yeah, don't see why they would though.

DJ is considered one of best centers in the league though, we'd need to give up a lot for him, Waiters & TT definetly, and probably more.

The idea was to open up like 10+M in cap space for the Clippers.

I don't think they would, and I probably wouldn't trade them both for DeAndre, he's not that kind of player.

Don't really have anything that I'd want in the hawes price range or that they'd be willing to give up

This wouldnt make sense for what they have to offer. Plus this would hurt our cap space and limit us from offering the max. Cant see how this happens.

Matt Barnes for Hawes. Vet shooter on a reasonable contract to help stabilize youth. Barnes becomes expendable with Pierce in the fold.

I don't want anyone on their team. Even more, I have no interest in helping them out of their cap situation. We aren't taking crap like Matt Barnes just to take him.

Barnes is a guy who passed long term deals in recent years so he can play for contenders.

Didn't Hawes sign a 4/23M contract with them hours ago for their mid-level?

Dudley+Bullock is reasanoble.

Dudley is a good role player, good shooter, can defend, good locker room guy.

Bullock has upside as a 3&D, just what this team needs from thhe wings.

Obviously next mover after that is trading Waiters and Varejao for a legit Center, I don't know if they will do it, but they seem pretty desperate and with limit options, so I will go after Hibbert.

Irving-Jack-Dellavedova
Wiggins-Karasev-Harris
Dudley-Bullock-Felix
Bennett-Thompson-Powell
Hibbert-Zeller-Haywood

Hopefully the young wings develop into good role players.

Somebody hit the bottle hard if they think the Cavaliers would make this trade. This would decimate their flexibility, and they'd lose one of their best trade chips (Waiters). If Dion isn't traded in a love deal or to help bring LeBron back to Cleveland, then he isn't moving.

Dudley-Bullock.....lmao!

I am a bit disappointed in Hawes signing with the Clips, especially for less than 6 mil per. I wonder if the Cavs even wanted him back, for what he signed for I think it is a bit low for a player his size and with his shooting ability.
Maybe he took a bit less from the Clips since they are contenders? I thought I had read he was looking for 8 mil per or more. Brendan Haywood is a bit of a downgrade from Hawes, if he even plays for the Cavs, I seem to remember that Haywood had an issue with the Cavs since they drafted him then traded him.

Keep Dudley away, that's a terrible idea.
