USA USA USA USA. side note Bradley gotta go he is just awful and always messing up. He caused the free kick thay eventually turned into Germany's only goal.

I think he was solid today and even played some of the passes he's supposed to play.
That goal also happened after a corner.

Anyways, good luck against Belgium(most likely) and I think you've got a shot if you're able to be stable on defense and create more chances on counter attacks, like you did in the first two games.

As for us Germans.
Solid game, but nothing special.
We controlled the game and didn't have defensive lapses, which is good for us.

Though, we still try way too hard to be Spain, without Xavi or Iniesta in their primes, and I didn't like our movement, which wasn't all that great.
Also, our central midfield's still a problem. Lahm's not all that good at that position, Schweinsteiger seems to only be good for about 60 minutes, Khedira's still recovering and Kroos is only good if we're up front and he isn't pressured or asked to defend.

I know the goal was on a corner but the fee kick before that set up the corner. He also was the one who turned the ball over last game when they scored with 5 seconds left to tie us

you have no idea what pressure is until you have to step up for the 5th penalty, with the penalties tied, at the world cup, as the favorites of the tournament, in your home country that just spent a gabillion dollars on hosting, when you are the best player on the team, knowing you will be hated forever if you miss.

huge balls for neymar, luiz and the rest of the guys who took those penalties. glad willian won't get murdered tonight in his sleep.

I was so hoping Brazil would lose though. But its probably for the best, losing like this there would be riots and it'd be very dangerous there

I'm glad the general US public is getting into soccer though. Our restaurant is packed during the US games.

Colombia is better though. It goes without saying I hope Uruguay won't survive with some ugly win. Man that team team turned ugly quickly, they were nice surprise and underdogs easy to root for 4 years ago in South Africa (except the Suaréz thing against Ghana)

Barcelona's payroll is probably enough to buy the Hornets

damn it, damn it. I keep predicting that Brazill will lose (Chile and Columbia) and they keep getting through. A very enjoyable, yet stressful game. Didn't expect finding myself rooting so passionately for Columbia.

I found myself rooting for Columbia after watching this 30/30 documentary on Pablo Escobar and some Columbian soccer player that was murdered after costing his team a win in the world cup.

Own goal against US cost him his life. Sad to hear when it came out after the World Cup.

Yeah, soccer fans in other countries go absolutely insane over their soccer. They make American fans turning over cars and stuff after winning Stanley Cups and Super Bowls seem like a swedish massage.
