There's a reason Oden didn't play in the Finals despite Birdman sucking, and why Bynum was cut by so many teams.

If we can sign the players we want, then if he wants the minimum, I'm OK to give Bynum a try, but at the first negative thing, we cut his contract.

I think other teams are ready to try, so I would prefer to test him before MIA for example.
We don't really know what happened with IND.

The Oden name/draft hype is worth much more than Oden the actual player, so no need to over pay in actual value.

Regarding Bynam, if you could sign him to a deal where he make money for playing, scoring, rebounding, blocking shots in the like. To be next in line to have him steal your money through a guaranteed contract with no court time, no thanks!!!
