Liverpool is interested in DeAndre Yedlin, who had an impressive performance for the United States in the World Cup and plays club soccer with the Seattle Sounders of the MLS.
Liverpool would like Yedlin to join the club on trial over the summer with a view to a permanent deal later in the transfer window.
Yedlin can play right-back, left-back or as a winger, which would give Liverpool versatility.
