I get the feeling that bosh and James don't really care to play together.... May be they both don't like playing with p*ssies ...

Yeah , I said it as I'll repeat a previous statement ... LeGollum does not want anything to do with the west. There's three or four teams out there/ here that can bump off any stacked deck team he assembles... And we aren't one of them
What ? Me Worry ?

Yea, the deeper we get into free agency the more I think he goes back to Cleveland. The story line is just too good, he gets just ride home and continue his free ride to the Finals.

Ray Ray has been strangely quiet over the last couple days. Not surprising, I've heard virtually nothing about Phoenix in that span.

I see Cleveland as our biggest threat to take Lebron.

It's a team in the East, it's a chance to redeem his legacy,

I hope he comes to Phoenix

Now now now is the time to put the full court press on Bosh to say hey we'll give you a max deal sign with us now and then we'll get Lebron .

If bosh signs here first, Lebron will be more enticed to come knowing Bosh is already in place.

When Lebron chose Miami, remember Bosh had signed first, giving a sense of stability to Lebron like "OK I've got wade and bosh now"

What if LeBron went back to Cleveland and they didn't win, because their roster really isn't that good? They didn't exactly forge a track record for success last year. Does LeBron really want to build a legacy of winning in Miami, and losing in Cleveland?

At least in Phoenix, it would be fresh, new, and exciting. You know we'd be the most entertaining team to watch since... the 04-05 Suns. And, IMO, much more reason to think he could win here than in Cleveland with that lackluster crew. Just how good do people think Wiggins will be these first few seasons?

We definitely would be the most exciting young team to watch

We'd have to part with marcus morris len and others to make salary cap work

But we'd have tj warren archie goodwin, markieff, miles plum lee in addition to Dragic bledsoe Lebron and one other star

We'd be the title favorite

Look at the rest of the team:
Waiters was almost traded as he and Kyrie didn't get along
Tristan Thompson - really not great shake
Bennett - one year, horrible
Personally, I am not that impressed with Kyrie. I am going to say, BOTH Bledsoe and Dragic are better players! Yes, I said it!!
VArajeao - can't play 50 games a season

if he goes to Cleveland - he won't win a title

And why would Riley be able to pull this off? What makes him a better GM than the rest? Because he created salary cap space 4 years ago? He did nothing to get James and friends and allowed the lure of playing for a title bring in cheap free agents. Such a joke.

While I don't necessarily disagree with you, I just can't believe LeBron would think he could win in Cleveland. That team, even with him, is at least 1 or 2 years away from winning the title (we saw it even took the Big 3 in Miami a year to win it) - they're players are just too young. If he's looking for the widest window of opportunity to win a title, Cleveland makes sense. But if he wants to win now AND later, Phoenix makes the most sense. We have young players, a bunch of first round picks, and a medical staff that can work wonders. I totally understand that it would make a nice story, but dang, Phoenix has to be the more attractive TEAM at the moment.

And I think ray ray has been quiet simply because our FO is saying absolutely NOTHING to anyone. As they should. They know they at least have the attention of LeBron's agent; they don't want to screw anything up now.

One more thing (and I'm repeating myself) - all the talk so far has been about Bosh and Melo. And that's understandable, seeing as how there really aren't any other free agents who are a really good fit. But I'm convinced that Love is the best - and perhaps most realistic - option if we add LeBron. It would undoubtedly cost us Dragic, but I think it's the right move.

Lets just do some math: The Cap is set at 63m. I have been paying attention to JDLAW - I think - and correct me if I am wrong
LeBron -21m is basically the max, right now 20.7, but call it 21m
Cole - unless traded - 2m
Napier - 1m for a player in his slot basically
Haslem- at minimum - 2m - probably closer to 3m actually but we will be conservative and say 3 years for 6m. (he turned down one year for 4.6m for a reason)

My math that is 26m - that leaves 37m for Wade, Bosh, Free AGent to be (Gasol, Deng etc) and 6 players. Cap holds for the other players has to be - well a million each so that is 31m for Bosh and Wade and FA to be. I guess they have the mid level.

But still 31m for Bosh, Wade and roster filler. Bosh is going to want close to 15; Wade the same thing as he OPTED OUT OF $42M DOLLARDS - WHAT WAS HE THINKING!!

Doesn't seem realistic to me that the Heat can do this? Unless this is all for show and everybody is going back to South Beach. Maybe they use the MLE for one free agent and can get a guy like Morrow for say $4-5m. But that's not great shakes really. Anderson back for the minimum; Oden back. Chalmers gone. I just am not sure that's a great team long term

Really, its Houston (who has a trade lined up with Lin - the Sixers) , Cleveland and the Suns

The Suns can get Bosh and James and that is his best team to go to . Period.

if rockets free up a max contract slot by dealing Lin

We have a serious threat on our hands to get Lebron

Harden Lebron Parsons and Howard would be better than what we would throw out there with DRagic/Bledsoe plus Lebron and a star

:o :-?

They're just preparing to clear space in case LeBron wants to join. Subtracting Jack only makes them thinner. Going back to Cleveland is a really risky move for LeBron.

Great point. Yes, LeBron in Cleveland makes them better but if you lose Jack, you are not as deep and it becomes the first go around in Cleveland all over again or this last year in Miami where he played 38mpg and did everything

Houston or Phoenix make the most sense from a standpoint of WINNING.

I'm more nervous about the Rockets; granted, they only talked to Rich Paul by phone and were not granted permission to come back to possibly meet with LeBron. Whether permission was denied due to lack of a max offer or because LeBron doesn't like the idea of playing for them is unknown.

3 teams that have a shot at taking Lebron from Miami

1. cleveland
2. houston
3. phoenix

I don't think we have to worry about anyone else.

I don't see Dallas or Lakers being an issue.

We really need to start pushing for a trade for Love now or contact Bosh's camp and push hard to sign him first to make the first move to securing Lebron.

I'm sure McD is working the phones like a madman to make it happen

Windhorst still sucking Miami balls.

http://www.brightsideofthesun.com/2014/7/5/5872537/nba-free-agency-chris-bosh-market-lebron-james-eric-bledsoe

Windhorst went on to say that Miami still had the best roster for LeBron, citing that Dwyane Wade was still a proven winner while the Suns are two years away from contending. His assumption included Chris Bosh in the equation, though he didn't mention Bosh by name.
