It would make no sense for LeBron to stay if Bosh goes.

Why? It would mean a ton of money, a large market, a fan base that loves him, etc... I think it makes a lot of sense for him to stay. Of course Miami would have to revamp.

As for Bosh, he should leave. He has 2 titles and 4 straight finals runs. He should take the money and make a run at the HOF.

LOL! Who treated him poorly other than pricks on the Internet? The organization has consistently called Bosh our most important player...

Agreed. I get that his offensive role has been reduced in an effort to maximize Lebron's impact and as he has been asked to focus on defending, but playing a secondary (or tertiary, given Wade) role on offense does not equal being mistreated. Miami as an organization, Spo, Lebron, Wade and the Heat's more reasonable fans have all talked Bosh's importance up over the last four years. The disrespect has largely come from opposing team fans who see a former 24/10 guy averaging 16/7 and ignore his non-statistical contributions.

Also, re: the OP, given that plan A is re-signing with Miami to play with Lebron and Wade at a discount, and plan B is going elsewhere and seeking more money, surely his preference is loyalty before $$$?

Is it though? The blurb talks about what bosh MIGHT do if lebron leaves. If anything all it does is say that bosh will only take less than the max from the heat.

Considering lebron still hasn't even spoken to another GM, I don't see any reason to start thinking that the sky is falling in Miami.

but it is.
You just dont realize it yet

Loyalty to his highness of course. I'm sure hope no one actually think it's his loyalty to the city of Miami. Because that would be pretty ridiculous.

Loyalty - bwahahahahahahahaha! Loyalty only to family and bank account. The Miami Big 3 taking less money has all owners and fanbases expecting their stars to do the same, which is asinine. Bron and co hurt the union and fellow players by taking less.

And there's nothing wrong with that. They took financial sacrifices and won two titles. They have the right to get paid if they want.

But this increasing talk of the big 3 breaking up honestly has me thinking Riley has something up his sleeve. Inb4 Pau and Ariza

Bosh is a perfect fit in Houston IMO. He opens up the paint for Howard to work and can do the catch and shoot when Howard gets the double teams.

1) misleading title is misleading
2) there's not a single quote in that article - all speculation
3) the entire Big 3 project was about winning - I think "loyalty" is really the last thing that comes to mind when thinking about the Heat Big 3, it's about success. It only lasts as long as they think they can be successful.
I've come to the conclusion that most folks don't really care that you broke one of the rules... they just enjoy telling you that you broke it.

He said Big 3.

unless Wade fell off so hard that Haslem is part of big 3 now, it doesn't apply to Haslem.

Bosh should take what he can get, in fact all the players should, these guys have limited careers in fact in about 5 or 6 years all these top free agents like the big 3 and Melo will basically be irrelevant. The truth is if the Heat could figure out a way to upgrade on Bosh he would be gone immediately, it is all a business. Riley calling out these guys in the media only a week or two ago and wants them to not only take another payout but do it happily so they have the chance to help the Heat make another finals run is ridiculous. If Bosh can go to Houston get a max deal, and Howard finally returns closer to his old self, than that could be a contender.

Udonis Haslem being a guy who got paid more because the big 3 took less, Shane Battier as well. They weren't hurting.

But yes, thanks for pointing out that Haslem isn't part of the big 3.

I like Bosh in Houston as well for that team as he'd give them a great versatile big on defense on the perimeter (something they sorely need) and he'd also give them floor spacing at the 4.

If he goes to HOU though, he's going to essentially be in the same role as he was in MIA. He won't be able to do work in the paint because Dwight will be there all game (D12 wants his touches in the post... and has made sure to complain about it when he doesn't get them) and Bosh definitely wouldn't be getting the ball to iso very often on the perimeter because that's what Harden does...

Bosh to HOU makes sense overall though in terms of trying to join a contending-ish team, but if what he wants is to have a bigger role than spending all his energy on D/Spot up shooting, then he definitely shouldn't go there. It might even be worse (in terms of Bosh having a bigger role on O) than on the Heat because Lebron/Wade are a far superior playmaking duo than Harden/Dwight.
On October 31, 2009, against the Kings, a bat descended onto the court causing a stoppage of play. As the bat flew past, Ginóbili swatted the bat to the ground with his hand. He then carried the creature off the court, earning the applause of the crowd.
