Why are they so against tanking? They've basically been doing an accidental tank the past 4 years. Would it really make a difference to suck for one year in the hopes of not sucking for the next 10?

I would think Knicks fans are used to watching their team be losers by now. It's like Cubs fans, everyone knows you didn't have to sell Cubs fans too hard on the tanking plan.

The Heat neutralized him when it mattered most adding Melo will make Rose better

Teams aren't gameplanning for Niko and Dougie

Do they really have a choice? They won 35 games last year WITH MELO, and Amare, and JR, and Chandler, and ,Shump, Tim Hardaway Jr., etc. (Jesus, that reads like a who's who of RealGM Bulls board coveted players over the last several years.- think of all the hundreds of pages we've about how the Bulls should get these guys)..... :lol:

I am not a Melo fan. However, I was hoping he would come (while feeling like he wouldn't) because even though he is a highly flawed player he does uniquely fill a need the bulls have, granted at an inflated price.

With that said, and agreeing Melo would make he bulls thought to beat, if Rose comes back at an all star level (if he doesn't the bulls are #%^*^%# anyway) the Bulls are contenders, particularly wihtt he addition of two shooters like M&M. They were contenders with a healthy Rose before, and have an improved supporting cast around him now. Miami is likely significantly weaker. It is wide open.
