Before he was an option most here probably viewed him as a one-dimensional, egocentric d-bag (I know I did/do). Now he's the second coming who makes or breaks this franchises future?
Gimme a break.
If he comes....great. If he doesn't.....that's fine too.

Scottie Pippen's response to whom he would pick for his running mate, Michael or LeBron: "That's a dumbass question. I've never done anything with LeBron. I wouldn't take LeBron to the movies."

In two years they will have a 33 yr old Melo and Jose Calderon, 36, on the books for a total of about $34M. And as of now, that's about it. Phil has a lot of work to do.
Contracts can be shed. Teams do it all the time.
Just saying they have no foundation.. not youth.. no real assets, no real talent, not sure if they even have all their own picks coming.. It just looks bad to me.

When you constantly haven't been able to score enough to win titles like you guys should have its worth getting your panties in a bunch
Sorry but Niko and Dougie is not enough to take down Elite teams come May and June

I understand. But ny is not a place where complete rebuilds are accepted very well. Especially not for a new gm who is a "legend" in the league and comes with high expectations. Finally, the of a front office is to make money...and if you can win a championship doing it better yet. Melo is a draw. Who else would fans come to see?

Not Really. I have no shame in wanting my fav. basketball team to get the best players. If they dont want to come here, their loss. Lebron would have had 4 rings here.

Why are they so against tanking? They've basically been doing an accidental tank the past 4 years. Would it really make a difference to suck for one year in the hopes of not sucking for the next 10?
I would think Knicks fans are used to watching their team be losers by now. It's like Cubs fans, everyone knows you didn't have to sell Cubs fans too hard on the tanking plan.

Well...there is this guy named Rose...
That should not be Rose's role though
The Heat neutralized him when it mattered most adding Melo will make Rose better
Teams aren't gameplanning for Niko and Dougie
But figuring out how to stop Rose/Melo is pick your poison at its finest
