The Bulls want Melo and let it be known that they do whatever. They brought Taj in to hopefully get Melo for cheaper seeing that Taj can help them win easier. But they will not let money get in the way of Melo.
This is interesting. They brought Taj to the meeting and we thought it indicated that he'd stay; but it really represented one of multiple pitches.
I like that we've told Melo we'll do whatever it takes, but that we're putting pressure on him to make it as easy for us (and for him to win) as possible. I think that puts an interesting spin on things, and surely means that the more time Melo takes is more time for him to be thinking about what he wants
us to do.
