Disagree.

- Going to the Finals FOUR straight years has only been done by 3 teams in NBA history.
- The Miami Heat are the first Eastern Conference team to go back-to-back since Michael Jordan's Bulls
- The Miami Heat own the longest win streak in NBA history at 27 in the modern era (post-merger)

How exactly is that a biased position. The Heat have been the NBA's best, most successful franchise for the past 10 years, and this is a fact.

To be unsure of THIS situation is completely ridiculous on Lebrons behalf. We can give him a pass for Cleveland because we all know they suck and they weren't winning jack.

You're completely missing the point.

You were blaming Cleveland fans for turning on Lebron for leaving but then welcoming him back if he came back.

I pointed out that its not unique to Cleveland. Many of our fans have turned on him and he hasn't even left but they will welcome him back if he stays.

The point is all fan bases would get mad at a star player for leaving and would be happy to have them back if it helped them.

Being "unsure" is nowhere near actually leaving. The fact that you put them even in the same ballpark shows your bias.

If Lebron left most of the Heat fanbase would turn on him. If in a couple of years he was a free agent again the fanbase as a whole would want him back. To think otherwise or that this is unique to Cleveland is ludicrous.
Your emotions fuel the narratives that you create. You see what you want to see. You believe what you want to believe. You ascribe meaning when it is not there. You create significance when it is not present.

Then someone else commented on his status saying that he knows for sure that LeBron is coming back to Miami. I asked him, "how do you know?". He said just follow the signs... they're everywhere its just hidden. Start with instagram and it will lead you to where you need to go.

I went on instagram and found something strange. Another friend who has close ties to LeBron said "Dont believe the hype" with a LeBron Heat jersey. I commented on the pic, "How do you know?". He said its all media BS...just do the research and you'll see LeBron is staying. He told me to look for the small clues on twitter.

I go on Twitter and I see someone saying "LeBron's not leaving, lol...Got it from the same sources as most". So I tweeted him "How do you know? He then sent me a link. I went to the link and it was my original friend's facebook status of "People can make up anything now days and others will take it as a fact" I saw the comment "LeBron's coming back to Miami"

If the Miami Heat = the Cavaliers in which we only went to the Finals ONE time, 0 rings in 4 years, then I can't blame Lebron for leaving us. You just can't, since our roster is garbage.

You simply don't understand that there is a DIFFERENCE in the situations. The Cavs sucked. The Heat didn't suck.

Isn't the Heat's current situation needing to beg players to take less money?

Yes, because although the Heat were the 2nd best team in the NBA last season, the Spurs were better.

And why? Because all of the Spurs players take paycuts to add more depth. If the Spurs never did that, then the Heat are 3peat champs right now.

So, we have to fight fire with fire and add depth just like they did.

So it looks like we struck out on Gasol and Ariza yesterday, or Riley is up to some grand master scheme. Not gonna sell Deng on taking any type of discount that's for sure.

If those 3 come off the market its over for us. No way we can sell LeBron on Bosh, a broken down Wade, a younger James Jones (Morrow), some bum like Alan Anderson, and a bunch of unproven rookies and broken down vets. I'd rather Kyrie, Wiggins or Love, Waiters, Varejao, Thompson too.

Gotta land Gasol, Deng, or Ariza. Its a must.

People said how he removed him from Instagram lol

It's not big deal but ppl said how there is some beef and Lebron removed Mario from social media.... It ain't true.

It's good when things are kept quite even if it's good or not... Hopefully soon Riley will get the players to put the pen on the paper and hold up that White Home jersey once they get introduced

the problem is.. with our "definite, confirmed, real" roster consisting of Norris Cole basically right now

Lebron is thinking ahead, not back he is asking himself questions like:

"do i want to play with Dwade as he breaks down further"

""do i want to be in Miami if Chris Bosh decides to go for the Money somewhere else"

"can Riley bring in new, fresh, good supporting cast, so far he cant"

"who is gonna be our starting PG and Center(or PF if Bosh stays at C)"

"can Coach Spo learn that "positionless defence" is not doable with me and the whole Big 3 aging"

you see.. its not as if it was without doubt...

and with so much uncertainty, it just matters not that much that we got to the finals 4 times.. and won 2 rings..

Lebron is seriously thinking: "wow it was a huge drag to get to the 4th finals... can we get to 5 with many of the same players who will be even more tired?"

He wants to win the ring next year.. and i cant blame him for being uncertain if we can do that as constructed(with Lebron,Bosh,Wade,Allen,Birdman,Haslem,Cole would need to be back all have huge milage over the last years"

Deng seems to have a very high opinion of his game. He is turning 30, injury prone and not a go to offensive guy.

I think Ariza might be willing to be more flexible than Deng and is honestly a better fit. I doubt we get him either though.

It's Gasol with some combination Hill, Nelson, Morrow, Carter, Okafor and Johnson as our best case scenario.

Riley needs to work his magic if he wants to get anything better.

I don't post much, usually just browse the forums and read the comments. Sorry to say but you sound rather
pitiful right now.

Past accomplishments don't hold any water over the current situation. Did you even watch Miami Heat basketball THIS YEAR or during the finals ?

The previous 4 finals appearances mean absolutely nothing for the future. This is a huge mistake fans continuously make. They use past glory to justify their future positions. Wade WAS a Superstar, a player who had the ability to tear your heart out. Is he anywhere near that type of player ?

Anyone who watched Miami Heat Basketball knows that this year more than any, we relied heavily on LeBron. Why is it so bad for Lebron to LOOK at the future (next several years) and ask himself if he wants to carry
a broken down Wade and a non-competitive Chris Bosh ?

What is so great about the Miami Heat Roster going forward ? Is Wade going to get healthy ?

You are over reacting to multiple conflicting reports from people who have a clear agenda and that is to cause a stir and drama with regards to the Big 3.

Return to Miami Heat
