Pat Riley pitched today how Miami was a good fit for Luol Deng. But Deng can't commit unless/until he knows how much money Wade/Bosh will take. Sides will talk again next week.

Why do people think Milwaukee is giving a max contract? Did they dump some salary I don't know about or do you expect them to? According to the cap spreadsheets and shamsports their salary commitments for next year are $46,911,405, and the rookie salary for Parker is $4,108,800, so that's a total of over $51 million. So they could offer about $12. I know Gaspar said $13 so maybe the dumped someone.

But if it is 12, that would be a good contract to match.

GTFO Bucks!

Damn the Bucks might actually be stupid enough to offer him a max :(

Agreed. I'm sure they are looking at Bledsoe and Jabari Parker as a new core for that team. I'f Suns miss out on LeBron, would Bledsoe accept a max contract from the crappy Bucks? Suns offer $60/5 (12 per year), Bucks offer $60/4 (15 per year). I think Bledsoe would stay with Suns.

Couldnt agree more! How long has Milwaukee been "rebuilding" anyway? Bledsoe wouldnt speed up the process that much for them. They have a lot of work to do. No way Bledsoe signs an offer sheet with them.

I thought this was interesting. If Houston has turned their attention to Bosh then I would imagine the search is down to us and Cleveland.

If Bosh signs with Houston the Suns are out of it. Lebron would give his word to Cleveland and they'd trade for Love in seven seconds or less.

Again, how can the Bucks give him the max? I don't know if you missed my last post right before yours, but please let me know if you know something I don't.

LeBron and Love would still be surrounded by a very bad supporting cast in Cleveland. It all comes down to the supporting cast, and in that regard Phoenix is the front runner.

Here's a question. WTF does Wade do if Bosh and LeBron move on?

Chicago?

You are foolish to think the bucks wont offer 4/62 mil offer sheet. The new ownership isn't f'n around. Will they get him, probably not, but the Suns will end up paying far more to keep him. This why they got J.Kidd to try to convince talent that wouldn't normally give Milwaukee the time of day.

Since they are under the cap they can make a trade and not be required to take back matching salary (I think). I am assuming the Bucks new owners are aware it will take a max contract to get Bledsoe, and that they have a plan to free up enough cap space to do so.

My homerism speaking maybe :D

I agree that the Rockets whole is less than the sum of their parts. Part of that may be the players but I think it speaks more to coaching. I think that is one advantage the Suns have in the LeBron sweepstakes over everyone other than Dallas(who don't have the cap to offer the max).

And then meanwhile we tie up your cap space for three days while matching and you lose a chance at Lin or Vazquez. Risky.

I kinda like that, no matter what, the world views us as the underdogs in the LeBron sweepstakes. LeBron likes to stir excitement and coming to Phoenix would certainly stir.

It seems to me that if a serious player got an offer from Milwaukee, and saw that Jason Kidd was going to be the coach, that alone would be enough to make that player decline the offer. I say the same thing whether Kidd is coaching the Nets or Bucks or any other team. Kidd is a joke and has no business (or experience) in coaching a team. He is too immature.

Chris Wright is unguaranteed (Middleton too but he's worth keeping).

True. Wiggins for KLove is fair.

Iirc, they lost to Portland mainly cause LMA was going off. I think Bosh is a good defender and more mobile and capable of keeping up with guys like LMA and obviously bigger than Jones.
