Re: Melo 17: Death or Glory
If Knicks fans are really trolling as "insiders" well that's sad. If overpaying for a player is really the only real "win" these fans can have, then that's truly pathetic. But good for them for at least having something.

Re: Melo 17: Death or Glory
I honestly can't remember the last time Simmons was right on something. He said Thibs was going to the effing Grizzlies lol.
He's not going to LA. And if he does, it's literally harmless they won't threaten us anytime in the future.

Kris Bryant will go down as the greatest Chicago athlete after MJ

They are able to compete. And it's better to bank on Kobe than Rose or Amare health wise. He would be relevant unlike chucking a year away in ny. Then he would have free agency money in 2 summers when KD is free, he is just 32, and has seen Randle develop. And unlike Chicago, the lakers will pay the tax over cutting quarters or running players into the ground like Thibs has done. He still gets all his cash too since he would have chose to come there and a year E&C opt out would see him re upped and token care of like Kobe, Magic, and Worthy were with the buss fam. Don't sleep on it
Coming back from an achilles injury at age 35-36 is unheard of. Kobe isn't going to be in the NBA much longer as it is.
Lol man gtfoh. Lakers aren't getting nobody. You're like that 13 year old who wants to play 5v5 with the real ballers. Watch from the sideline little homie, wasting my time having to read about the Lakers now....bruh..

That's what they've looked at. It's always even acknowledged that they were t retaining Bazemore, Brooks, Wes, or Kaman ... They've maintained contact with hill as well but it's already been detailed they would need. Young to take one for the team and sacrifice a year for his early bird rights as well if hill went for the room
That is not a contender.

Lakers with Melo won't come out of the West alive, healthy or not.

Not true. Nash gets stretched and they can offer Pau market value. Then from there they can pay Young the room exception. Then can bring back Farmar and Henry on the minimum with the promise of early bird rights and in Jordan's case starting. Then they can offer Blake! Caron, and a vet big (JO) all of whom they've talked to the minimum. Clarkson will be retained for a year or d league seasoning. Kelly already has a QO
Kobe and Melo
Randle at 120%
Pau at 8mil
Swaggy at the room exception
Farmar and Henry returned with early bird rights ala jr smith the next summer
Ryan Kelly QO, Sacre, and Marshall
Cheap vet like Steve Blake and Jermaine ONeal
Its silly to think that they haven't put in the due diligence, but you would if you only watched sportscenter and list ended to Broussard over knowing they've contacted other minor guys and would assemble something like
Farmar/Blake/Marshall
Kobe/Young
Melo/Henry
Randle/Kelly
Pau/JO/Sacre
Clarkson - Dfenders

You really think with all the crazy deals being signed by third tier guys that Young is going to sign for the RMLE?
He's already admittef that he and the FO discussed it and that he told them he would take a hometown discount. Young himself admitted that. They knew Meeks was gone, same with Brooks.

If he goes to LA, then it's all about LaLa.
That team isn't doing anything in the west.

He is always right. People just don't get his sarcasm. In other words: Melo to Bulls very likely to happen right now.

I would just live out in LA in the summer if I was him. Rose lives in LA in the summer.

Rose was just really unlucky. If he tore his meniscus first and then his acl, he would have missed half the time.

How long until someone accuses you of being a sexist?
If my wife made 80-100 mil in her job we are moving wherever she says.
Hell my wife just got her nursing degree making a lot of money and we are still going to move wherever she says.

Lol come on man, I said I get that she loves what she does...and I respect that he's looking out for her best interest as well. Happy wife is a happy life. But if he's making 100 million dollars either way, he shouldn't be guilt tripped into sacrificing what means most to him in his professional career because lala likes to sell fancy dresses on the side
