I think it would be a great summer for the Bulls if Lebron goes to Houston, or anywhere West and Melo goes to LA.

Who would be our toughest competition on the EC? We would be favorites to make the Finals with a healthy Rose. If we could get Stephenson away from Indy, we could really rule the East.

While it would be nice to make it to the finals, we'd get slaughtered. I'm most concerned with having the best team we can have.

I don't see how you can say we'd get slaughtered. We would have a hell of a team and we mmatcch up great with the Spurs who are still the favorites. Add Rose and Lamce and Mirotic, McBuckets to Jimmy, Da Bearstow Taj, Jo and some vets and We can play with anyone.

That's leverage. Not interest. Melo isn't naive enough to think Houston or Chicago couldn't get things done with a commitment. Its a pointed threat to Phil. Sign and Trade me to x or I'm bailing to LA and you get nothing.

I tend to believe that the Lakers are leverage for a S&T to Chicago. Houston doesn't have the cap space to leverage Phil and there is a **** ton of "no way Phil lets Anthony walk to LA" reasons.

I simply don't believe that Anthony is going to LA. It's like getting the max in Chicago with the roster of the Knicks, what's the reason?

Lakers allow him to get out of NY, if he wants out. He gets his money, he gets to be in a big market, he gets great weather, his wife is happ, etc.

I still say Chicago gets Deng back this summer and I like McBuckets. I don't really get why they aren't looking for a dynamic guard though. I think someone like Lance would be a huge backup plan for them, in uses Rose goes down and even starting next to Rose and pushing butler to SF.

I think Chicago is better than most expect but they have to add depth with to he ownership being willing to push the tax. Its easier to assume Rose will be healthy if they add depth and make it so guys don't overload on minutes IMO

Lol no need for damage control. I think Rose will be fine...I want him to get the Westbrook treatment and sit back to back games... I would hate Lance Stephenson but I'm getting so desperate over this Melodrama. Sigh....

1. Our owner paid the tax. He didn't pay the repeater tax because we weren't a contender this year.

2. Thibs played Deng and Butler a lot of minutes. Everyone else's minutes have been fine.

Being a husband....the kind that wants to stay married for the rest of his life...means you put your wife first. Not wife 1a and career 1b. But wife is first. Some of the attitudes i see here go to great lengths to explain our divorce rate. Being a wife is not about being "cool". Its about being a wife. When you marry, your family should trump all. People don't live to work. They work to live.

Yes, and people don't live to be a slave to someone else. A relationship is about mutual commitment and understanding, not a one-way relationship where you lay down everything for your wife while she steps all over you. Being in an unhappy relationship where you (not you specifically) put your wife first and your wife puts herself first also explains the divorce rate. If Carmelo decides to go to Chicago, is it about a paycheck or about something more important to him?

On the other hand, having a "cool" wife that cares as much about you as you care about her, and is willing to compromise for the mutual good of the relationship, is awesome for staying married. Mine wouldn't even think twice about finding a way to make this work and since neither of us believes in divorce, we don't have any need to hang that possibility over each others' head.
