Why are we still running with this?

I thought we established, per Mark Deeks, that it's not required that NY take Boozer in a S&T that allows Melo to get more money than what we can offer via capspace.

I've never gotten more notifications in my life..lol

I'm really trying to cope with the possible disappointment of not landing Melo. That's going to be my argument.

Someone who scores 27ppg isn't going to suddenly regress into anything less than a 2nd option in his twilight years, and as people said, his game should age well.

Unless you want to keep the MLE, which according to Ralph, would be kept for Mirotic. If you're keeping the MLE, there is only ONE way to do this: trade Boozer.

Duane... Duane everywhere...

I retired him when Rose tore the ACL, but I'm willing to bring him out to play if Melo comes.

If Melo comes here, he'll be turning down tens of millions of dollars more, going to a hardass defensive coach that doesn't accept excuses from star players, an organization that does not dote on their players, and depending on HOW much less he takes, indirectly paying the salary of several role players.

Don't you think that if he does that, it would be time to revise your opinion of him as a diva that wants fame and fortune above all else?

Well, you have just noted all the reasons why I am 100% confident that he won't choose the Bulls ...

And if he does, you had him pegged. But if he doesn't, then you should want him on the team.

Well, If he drops a considerable amount of money in order to compete, I would certainly welcome him ... I just can't see that happening ...

Ah right. I guess I'm already mentally prepared/expecting that we don't get Melo AND Mirotic. I think it's likely that Mirotic is used as trade bait in said S&T, especially now that he seems more willing than ever to be in the NBA.

Well according to the Deekster, you CANT S&T Mirotic. If he signs he can't be traded for 30 days.

Can you provide a link? And what trade are you referring to? The one for Novak, which eats into their caproom and makes a Boozer trade LESS likely?

Here's where says Booz to Jazz is a done deal:

He just said there would be a trade yesterday and a lot of people doubted it because it was July 4th:

Hmmmm not sure I buy that three-team deal involving CHI-UTA-NYK.
Scottie Pippen's response to whom he would pick for his running mate, Michael or LeBron: "That's a dumbass question. I've never done anything with LeBron. I wouldn't take LeBron to the movies."

No, but you can trade his rights before he is signed, which are valuable if the team believes Mirotic would sign with them.

I'm talking about trading his rights, hence the importance that Mirotic actually looks like he wants to be in the NBA now that he has issues with Real Madrid.
