I'm gonna post a sad GIF on the Knicks board and see if I can escape unscathed. (I swear I won't engage. I won't "troll." Just a basketball fan that is feeling down about the Knicks.) I want to feel their sorrow; cry their tears..and I can't get the full effect without getting my hands dirty.

I think the most likely outcome is that if Melo comes via S&T, Mirotic comes as well. And if Melo comes via capspace, he doesn't. And if Melo doesn't come, Mirotic does as a consolation prize.

Strange thing it that the Knicks would be worse of with a full max Melo over 5 years, rather than starting the rebuild now. They'll be like "YESSSSS we got MELO SUCKAZZ!... ummm we screwed."
