Let's be real. These two have a chance to play together on a team that just lost in the finals. Wade and bosh left them almost 30 million. They going to split it.

Mirotic and a couple of picks?

I think I said this to you on the Bulls forum, but Mirotic has asked for assurance he will not be traded. He will stay overseas if his rights are traded to NY so that's a non-starter.

Youre telling me someone would rather be in Chicago then NY. lol.

Yes Mirotic not be traded to NY is part of the Bulls negotiation with him.

I doubt it. But im sure people would still find a way to paint Melo as greedy and money hungry if he did.

Maybe Melo just wanted to be in the news for a couple of more days. It was anti-climactic if he just said he was re-signing with the Knicks. The primadonna athlete of today always needs their attention.

While I'm not one of those people that thinks every idea in the media is stolen from RealGM, I would not be one bit surprised if Melo and/or his boys were looking through these threads (or others like them) laughing hysterically. I'd even say it's probable.

These guys love this sh*t. They love to feel wanted, and they'll seek to incite it if it doesn't happen organically.

I'm not saying it's true, but to play devil's advocate, wouldn't it make sense that if he (or any free agent) made a decision and made their new/existing team aware, that the contract would begin to be drafted and gone over by the agents and lawyers so that it is ready to go by the 10th? Then the 10th just becomes sign the dotted line and press conference. Maybe I'm wrong? I'm not a lawyer

No, Bulls don't even know how much cap space they'll have available so any story about anything being signed any time soon is 100% BS.

Just spoke to my source. And it's legit he has his own show use to work with Knicks and is still close to many athletes. He's signing to the Knicks. Everyone relax.

I'm not sure what the reasoning is, but if he is traded he isn't coming over. I'm sure NY could probably throw enough money at him($8 to $10 million) to change his mind, but that would put a serious cramp in your 2015 plans. So let's just assume he won't be part of any deal.

Was it the Mike Woodson Show? Does your source have a goatee and employ a defensive strategy dreamed up by inbred mental patients?
