Please do, Mr. Beast. I need some positive reinforcement, or at the very least I need an updated momentum chart to show where my level of enthusiasm should be at this point.

I love this board, because its full of crazed fans and intelligent posters. I've learned a lot from this board and one lesson I learned quickly was that 99.9% of the "inside sources" here are half baked stories at best. They are told through a fans perspective and because of that, they are embellished like the size of the fish you caught last week. It makes for fun reading, but don't hold much stock in them.

From my perspective, there is 1 reporter to put your chips in on and that's Woj. The rest you have to sift through and figure out what you want to believe versus not. That's part of the fun of it all.

At this point, I think its safe to say that its a 3 team race for Melo. Its between us, LA and NY. Who wins is anyone's guess. Just sit back and enjoy the madness. Sooner or later Woj will break the story and we'll either pop the champagne or we'll start convincing ourselves Lance Stephenson isn't insane.

Have to say Melo handled this well. Took less time then James in 2010, and with less than. 24 hrs to go we still don't know where he is going. SAS was calling the MIA collusion days ahead.

Every time I see Rose highlights from his younger years, I cant stop thinking about my opinion that he's put too much upper body mass on for his frame & playstyle, which has led to these knee injuries .

Yeah I was scratching my head at him bulking up while recovering from ACL. Then he came back going a mile a minute and was holding my breath every night until his torn meniscus. Hoping Rose learns to chill a bit and let the game come to him.

For the first time in a few years I had some vivid Bulls dreams.

I dreamt the meeting of the lawyers today was true, and that I was in the meeting!!!

Every part of me wanted to post on Real GM but I was scared the twoheaded monster boss GarPax would know it was me and I'd be out of a job.


Anyway. There was a lot of side discussion about Investments and business opportunities in Chicago. Also, Melo and family showed up later. He looked a lot younger in my dreams than what he looks like on tv. That last part I think is related to how recently I am having a hard time with how I've realized that most players in the four major sports are actually younger than me (31).

I am wondering if one of the reasons for all this 'Melo not going to Chicago' news is because the media and league really don't want him here. They don't want us to win. The Bulls had so much attention in the 90's they are still sick of the Bulls?

Or alternatively, they are reporting that Melo is not coming to the Bulls because it is much more likely that he will stay in NY or move to LA, a couple of destinations that are much better fit for him as a player, and for the lifestyle of his wife?
