Can he play SG full time? B/c he seems a bit slow for that. I'm the same guy that thought MKG and McDermott could coexist on the wings but the prevailing thought was that Clifford would stubbornly play MKG as a SF only and if he views Hayward as a SF only then that means Hendo and Hayward at SG & SF and that doesn't seem like it would make us that much better, especially with how much we're going to have to give up to get him.

Personally I've always viewed Hayward as a 2, not a 3.

Why do we want Hayward? He not better than Stephenson. Hayward had the that whole Jazz team to the dick by himself to be the lead scorer and he only averaged 16. I'm not that high on him like y'all. Go get Stephenson!

No autocorrect needed. That's how I feel about Hayward. I'm not interested in him at all unless he coming for Hendo money, that 6mil.

That's hood slang for he had the whole team to himself. He was the first option.

The real question is what would Lance have done if he was the only good offensive player on his team? Lance gets the benefit of being down the list of who to stop, while Hayward is the focus of the defense.

Ha! Hendo put up the same numbers as Hayward as the sole focus of the defense like 2 years ago minus a few assist because he can't dribble. Hayward is borderline all star status at his peak. Stephenson prolly wouldn't have scored more than 16 to 18 on a team by himself too but he's a superior defender compared to Hayward and that's the edge of the sword.

I think it would be a great idea to expose P.J. Hairston and one of the youngest locker rooms in the NBA to the most volatile, terrible human being currently in the NBA, said no one ever.

No to Lance. Go for Hayward.

Utah will match any offer, I don't think there is anything to see here.

I guess that you haven't been reading the rumors of sing and trades ... or Utah's potential reluctance to match a max offer when it was thought that the Cavs might offer that.

What was more interesting to me personally were the posts on the Jazz boards before FA period started. The team's announcers were apparently tearing Hayward apart and the speculation was that the FO was preparing fans for his leaving. It did sound like he didn't want to go back.
My picks:
2020 Draft (3rd pick) - Tyrese Haliburton, Devin Vassell, or Onyeka Okongwu
2021 Draft (11th pick) - Moses Moody

Stephenson is superior on defense, although he isn't a great stopper or anything, and Hayward is superior on offense. It really comes down to what you want and I prefer the team player. Hayward is a better fit for our needs right now. I just don't want to bring in such a volatile personality and risk the strain on the locker room. Also it is rumored that Big Al like. Hayward from their Utah days and that would mean he would likely slide right into our locker room and keep us one of the closest teams in the league.

:-? :-? :o :o Gordon fits us perfectly and has played with Al...which indicates we should make an offer...but not the max. 44mil for 4 years with 4th being a team option. Hendo + 2015 1st would be the max trade to Utah.

Henderson + a (presumably late) 1st is the same deal we offered the Magic for one year of Afflalo and it got swatted down. One of our young players would have to go.

Sorry, I guess I should be a little more open to the situation.

the most volatile, terrible human being in the NBA THAT I KNOW OF. As far as I know, no one else had scholarships revoked before going to Cincy, didn't drop from being a lottery pick to a second rounder because of disciplinary issues, has thrown a woman down a flight of stairs, and starts fist fights with teammates during practice.

Could be wrong though.

Dude is a nutcase.
