Put it this way. There would be NO announcement from the Melo camp for a Chicago signing. This will be reported by the Knicks front office regarding a Carmelo trade.
A Melo announcement would come with a signing with LA or NY.

So it's still up to Melo

Not to mention, if Melo doesn't announce Knicks or LA on Monday. This most likely means parties are working on a two or three team trade.
