Mirotic- Bulls fans are penciling him into all star games but who knows. complete question mark. cant say Ive seen anything more then highlights.

2 garbage picks.

1 maybe good pick? Sacramento will be better then people expect this year.

We'd also dump JR's contact. Despite your scouting opinions, 2 young prospects and 3 first round picks, one that should be between 11-14 (hopefully, as conditioned) is solid. Also, the Bulls have a swap pick with the Cavs, which may come into play if the Cavs squeak into the playoffs. I'd also want a 2016 second rounder (not a big deal obviously).

It is a solid offer and will allow the Knicks to rebuild and allow Phil to build it as he wants.

It is better than Melo leaving for nothing or Melo staying for 25mill per year.

The longer it goes the less and less likely it seems he stays. We've put all our chips on the table for a few days now - the max, Phil's vision, etc. If he's taking this long to think it over then there's no way he's totally convinced.

Knowing Melo though, he just wants the spotlight a couple more days.

Wouldn't they pull his song?

No. If they haven't done it by now, why would they ever do it. He's been doing this since the summer of 2010.

Because what he is saying is b*****. That is the point of my post. If he had real sources and leaked them, they would (Dolan and company) want him to shut up about it.

Kobe,Melo,Gasol is better than Calderon,Melo,Amare and whichever team he goes to all the veteran minimum big name guys will follow.

You seem to forget the lakers are in this thing called the western conference and they would be maybe the 9th best team there?

I didn't forget and i agree with you i was just talking team wise that they would have a better team if Melo and Gasol were there with a healthy Kobe.

I was telling my guys on the Bulls forum how, even if you try to escape the Melo drama, you just cant.

I am a Bar Manager in a Chicago burb and after closing and working from 4pm to 3am(mostly on my phone on realGm), at the end of the night something hilarious happened.

I was processing credit card stuff and the 3rd CC that came across my desk was James Dolan.

I took a pic of the name and sent it to my buddies who are follow the Melo situation as much as me.

It's effed up, there is no escape, just misery.
Expect finite disappointment, but keep infinite hope

Guys... It is not impossible that he chooses LAL. The world was shocked when LeBron chose Miami over his home, because people talked it was Wades team, not LeBrons, but LeBron did choose Miami to compete.

Lakers? Kobe by far is better than anyone on our roster, Gasol is also better than any big we have. And the Lakers are letting players electing who the coach will be, while NY already hired Fisher.

If Melos decided he couldn't commit to Chicago or Houston for money reasons, and it's now between sunny LA and cold NY, I wouldn't be surprised to see Melo joining Los Angeles. Offers are roughly the same, only difference is LAL can't offer a fifth year they can offer later anyway. Melos probably asked an opt out clause when Kobe expires which the Lakers would probably give him.
If the Lakers align Kobe-Melo-Gasol and their lottery PF, along with Nash as a point guard, they will see many good free agents commit to minimum money.

Not to mention, if Melo doesn't announce Knicks or LA on Monday. This most likely means parties are working on a two or three team trade.

I thought there is a trade moretorium until thursday

Cool, so if Melo wants to go there we'll just turn down all their assets and get nothing, they'll trade Taj easily for the rest of the cap space and sign him anyway.

You would think he would have told the teams that have no chance that their out so they can move on...he has to know these teams are waiting on him...you would think those teams would at least leak they are out...it just seems odd how quiet it is around him..

Especially since CAA loves to leak everything to the media

He leaked that the Melo trade was done. Didn't get his song pulled. Leaked Felton was coming back to NY, didn't get get his song pulled. Regardless if he is bs'n or not , no one seems to give a damn.

It's not about one year. There roster will not be better than ours after next year.

Really?? Do you know something the rest of the world doesn't?? Without Melo we will have a tough time bringing in the big boys and there's no telling which big names will even be out thee after next year.

again with this magic trade button.

They can go ahead. A core of Melo Noah and Jimmy Butler isnt winning anything,

Tomorrow, Tuesday latest. My sources say so.

Robert Randolph already said that it'll be tommorow. Why are we worried? :meditate:

I would think Phil could manipulate Jeanie into telling him how the Lakers really feel about their chances of signing Melo or if it's all just a smoke screen for him getting a sign and trade to Chicago or maybe he wouldn't have to manipulate her at all and she would want to help Phil.

The sign and trade thing seems plausible but I think it's telling that no one is mentioning that in the media. Not one person.

That's what i'm saying. You gotta think Phil is in her ear right??
