You made my wife smile. She's been on this contention since early last year, I've been hearing it all weekend.

Tell wifey to stop trippin'. Melo is ours and she will have to be happy with Kobe.

You can't do it for a little while. It has to be forever, and the way you play the game. It's not passing on a trial basis -- it's understanding how to play and trusting your teammates in order to win.

Who Melo is practicing with has zero bearing on anything. He's friends with Kobe.

The longer this goes on, the less I care about him staying.

No. If your teammates can't hit shots stop passing them the ball as often.
Felton and Shump had to be the worst shooting back-court tandem I have ever seen.

She's seen five rings, she isnt upset....honestly I'm not either, Kobe is my favorite player in the NBA.

One thing we do agree on....Melo cares money first, everything else is secondary, always has....until proven differently.

All these guys play pick up out there...nothing to talk about...jennings was playing ball with harden and a few others in LA when I was out there at a NIKE invite only pick-up...they do it here in NY as well at the Jordan Gym...

It boggles my mind that people say Melo is not a team player and won't buy into a team system or try what the coach is doing.

Melo was running the point for us under D'antoni system before Lin. Melo was running the Pnr. He played the power forward position and agreed to guard guys much bigger his size (contributed to shoulder injury)

You guys act like he's an a**hole. No one remembers Marbury bailing on us is in Phoenix and flying back to NY.

I don't remember Melo yelling at his teammates for not giving him the ball, never seen Melo sulk, or complain.

Melo is not perfection but I don't let perfect get in the way of good. And Melo is damn good player.

He's not the GM though. You play by sharing the ball always. Let the GM put good players out there. You're not going to win NBA games singlehandedly so you might as well trust your teammates if your goal is to win. Passing to a bad teammate is still better than trying to win a game yourself.

If these reports about Bulls, Rockets and Lakers are bogus, are people really so blindly eager to welcome back a player who tries to blackmail his own team into giving him a max contract? No dignity.

Believe it or not Melo and JR are excellent catch and shoot players.

I can count on one hand how many times I recall them feeding each other in that fashion.

Thats iq and been ingrained a certain way, not really willingness.

To if you guy's think Melo is our saviour and his teammates were at fault for the last 3 years then I hope Phil signs him to that ridiculous contract he doesn't deserve, me I have an issue when a man doesn't keep his word say lot about a person but hey that's just me and my beliefs

Passing to Felton this year was playing to lose...

Well said.

NO player will ever satisfy this fan-base. None. We could have James and they still would not be happy.
